Late Bloomer McConaughey Looking Forward At 40

Matthew McConaughey is looking forward to his forties – insisting life gets better the older he gets.

The Sahara star turned the big 4-0 on Wednesday and spent the day reminiscing with friends and family at a wild house party.

But the actor isn’t concerned about approaching middle-age – branding himself a “late bloomer” who’s got so much to look forward to.

On his MySpace.com blog, he writes, ”

The 30’s were good to me and I’m really looking forward to my 40’s, ’cause I’m a late bloomer.

“Got everything I need for a perfect 40th…a happy and healthy lady, son, and another baby on the way.”
