Verne Troyer Ex Granted Restraining Order After Abusive Phone Calls

Verne Troyer’s former girlfriend has been granted a temporary restraining order against the actor over fears the star could order his heavies to kill her.

Yvette Monet told a judge that her Mini-Me ex had been bombarding her with abusive phone calls, leaving her “awful messages” branding her a hooker.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ.com, Monet claims the actor’s entourage carry guns, adding, “His friend Jose is a cop and has guns as well. I’m afraid for my life.”

It’s not the first time Troyer has had trouble with a former lover – in 2008, his sued his ex Ranae Shrider after she leaked a sex tape featuring the couple to the media.

That Verne is a little spitfire. He better have a gun if he goes after someone because I don’t think he’ll do much physical damage standing 2 feet tall.
