Robin Williams Would Have Died If He’d Not Gone To Rehab

Robin Williams would have died if he had not sought help for his alcoholism, according to his son.

The comedian has long battled a dependence on drink and relapsed badly three years ago, alarming those close to him with a series of self-destructive binges.

Williams’ 26-year-old son Zak hints he and other close family members staged an intervention to force the funnyman into rehab.

He tells the New York Times, “There was an ultimatum attached to it.”

And he’s glad he stepped in and took action, adding, “I’m pretty confident that if he continued drinking, he would not be alive today.”

I hate to break it to you Zak, but your Daddy has been a hard cored drunk and druggie for many years. You do know it was dear old Dad doing dope with John Belushi the night he died right?
