Penn Badgley Had No Clue Who Galliano Was

Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley turned red with embarrassment at a recent fashion party when he failed to recognize top designer John Galliano and asked him who he was.

The actor accompanied his girlfriend and TV co-star Blake Lively to the stylish event, but he was left hanging his head in shame at the end of the night after his big fashion blunder.

He tells America’s InStyle magazine,

“Well, I met John Galliano recently at an event in his honour but had no idea who he was. He looked like a fantastic pirate in a leather vest with no shirt on and a tall top hat.

“We were introduced, and I said, ‘I’m sorry, what’s your name?’ And he’s like, ‘John.’ Blake thought it was hilarious.”

Hey I’ve never heard of John Galliano either!!!
