Simon Cowell Exiting American Idol 2010?

Reports are surfacing that Simon Cowell has decided to leave American Idol after the 2010 season to concentrate on his many endeavors.

According to his brother Tony, Simon is drawing up a press statement as the momebt that will confirm Simon’s exit from American Idol in 2010.

That could be the death blow for the show. I already think they are in trouble losing Paula Abdul, one of the many watchable aspects of the show was watching the banter back and forth between her and Simon. With Simon gone I believe the show would be gone but I guess time will tell. Simon is big about the $$$$ and if they throw enough bucks at him who knows.
