How The Grinch Stole Christmas has been named the Worst Christmas Movie of all time in a new online poll.

Editors at Moviefone.com have compiled their top festive flops, and crowned the Ron Howard-directed 2000 release top of the pile.

Explaining their decision, a spokesperson for the site tells WENN, “A loud, garish and obnoxious film, certainly a career low for director Ron Howard – and it’s not exactly Jim Carrey’s finest hour (or two), either.”

The top 10 is as follows:

2. The Santa Clause 3 (2006)

3. Deck the Halls (2006)

4. Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984)

5. Four Christmases (2008)

6. Surviving Christmas (2004)

10. Reindeer Games (2000).

   Lame poll!…they didn’t even have It’s A Wonderful Life. The GREATEST Christmas movie of all time…and, I know I’m weird, but I liked How The Grinch Stole Christmas. In all it’s creepiness! sp?
