Paramore Announce Spring U.S. Tour Dates

The last time Paramore hit the road to support their Brand New Eyes album, it was a less-than-smooth trip.

On the first night, frontwoman Hayley Williams lost her voice, forcing the audience to provide her vocals for the remainder of the show.

Then, the band postponed a handful of dates while Williams recovered from what the band said was laryngitis but I later found out from Williams herself was in fact her ongoing trouble with her vocal chords.

And when they finally returned to the road, Williams was on complete vocal rest, no meet and greets no talking outside the show. Dates were also very spread out, one on one off type of thing to rest her throat.

Hopefully, things will go a little better this time around. On Thursday, the band announced their second batch of dates for a spring jaunt, scheduled to kick off on April 26 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The band will crisscross the continental U.S. (including a May 1 stop at the Bamboozle Festival at the Meadowlands in New Jersey) and bring the tour to a close on May 16 with a gig at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Joining Paramore on the trek are Relient K and fun. Tickets will go on sale to fan club members beginning this Monday (February 1), and will then be made available to the general public starting on February 5 and 6. For more information, check out Paramore.net.
