Gary Busey, 65, Welcomes Baby Boy

Actor Gary Busey, 65, and his 40-year-old girlfriend Steffanie Sampson welcomed their first baby together early Tuesday morning.

The Oscar nominee (for 1978′s Buddy Holly Story) named the boy — born at 6:40 a.m. — Luke Samson Busey. He weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz.

“This feels like a dream,” the couple said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “We feel so blessed and are overwhelmed with happiness at Luke’s arrival.”

His 38-year-old son Jake (with ex wife Judy Helkenberg) was the couple’s first hospital visitor.

At least the girlfriend is older than his child if only by two years.
