Average Age Of Adam Lambert’s Fans 60

Read this article and you’ll get an idea of what I’m talking about. The fans quoted in the article are 60, 69 etc. WTF, this is insane.
How I stumbled on this article was Adam Lambert Curator MysteriosoMan sent me a pic above of a fan at a show.
What caught my eye was her “Adam Lambert Network” pass clipped to her LEATHER pants and the fact she looks about 65.
I googled her name and came upon this article, in it she says she is 60ish and that she likes Adam because his style parallels her. Again, WTF?

Here is a pic of an 89 year old mother in a wheel chair and her daughter. What causes something like this? I believe it happened to Clay Aiken as well. Is it Idol? Gay? What?
In a recent interview Lambert claims that Susan Boyle makes him laugh but the funny thing is she’s younger than most of his fans!

My sister and I are probably two of Adam’s “older” fans. We are “woodstock” era girls who grew up with the best of the rockers. We haven’t tried to anaylze the appeal Adam holds for us but we do know it starts with his incredible voice. Whether singing rock or doing somehing like The Ten Commandants his voice is truly amazing. Then, I suppose to be perfectly honest, he’s also the most beautiful eye candy we have actually noticed in awhile. We love Adam and don’t care how silly it may seem to anyone else.

Adam’s fans are psycho, just like Clay’s fans are to this day. Look at the wall/fences Clay has built around his house.
I feel sorry for them both. To me this is funny, to them, I’m sure it’s NOT funny at all.

Haha, I am so bothered by my typing errors. It’s too early for this crap.

I adore Andrea Bocelli, you slore. BRILLIANT vocalist.
I could care less about his sales, but hey, debuting at 3 is pretty great, especially since it placed higher than the actual winner (and has sold more to date). And I would never call him Glambert, you slave.
Who are “those,” by the way? I am not one of “those.” “Those” are Glamberts. It has nothing to do with age, race, looks or otherwise. They’re mainstream Idol tards who don’t actually ~get~ Adam. They don’t understand the reality of events like Burning Man or the fact that Adam will always prefer to have something to grab when he reaches around. They make a lot of noise, but they’re not the majority. They do shitty stuff, and inadvertently harm his career. As I said – it comes with the territory. He’ll shake them once people see what hes really about.

It’s not irrelevant, shit-for-brains. McCartney is a name everyone knows, and is older than the supposed average Lambert fan – yet is still relevant today, and no one would look down on him for his age if he decided to go to a concert (or perform, clearly). Society acts like it’s 1948, and people in their 60s should be in bed by 7pm. They were young once, and grew up in an incredibly influential time of music (some would say [myself especially] the best time). McCartney was hugely responsible for an incredible era in pop music with both the Beatles and his solo career, and as I said: mainstream music’s been in a downward spiral since the 70s. Adam’s styling is totally different (I would have used a different example but most of the 70s rockers are, well, dead), but I imagine many of the older women fans view Adam as a throwback to a time when the airwaves actually showcased talent, along with a man they found attractive (hello, Elvis lookalike).
No, it has never occurred to me someone might not share in my opinions. Lol, idiot. I never once said anyone should see anything in Adam. My point was that this post is clearly (and yes, I’m aware – purposefully) incorrect, as well as another shining example of agism (and I saw all of this as someone in my early 20s).
Do you know anything about logical fallacies? Because I can school you if you’re interested.
Clay was never a straw man. He was a popular example of my point on what a stage like Idol can do to a male contestant’s career – however, in my opinion (<—novel, right?[as well as most people with functioning eyesight]), he is incredibly unattractive, void of any kind of image, and while more "talented" than Ruben, not in possession of the most distinct voice.
Say what you want about Adam's skin, style, or "screeching," but it's all clearly memorable, made especially clear by you and your ilk at Vote For the Worst (and other sad sites, like Ickey.org) who can't seem to detach your esophagus' from his gigantic cock, even though he's going to be forgetten with the new season of Idol (LAWL). ;)
I could give less than a shit if you dislike Adam. Many of his fans feel the same way (and of course, many don't, but whatever). It's the fact that certain areas of the pseudo-media attack him (and his fans) with various forms of prejudice. From subtle to obvious homophobia and sexism, to size-ism and this perfect example of agism.
However, it all boils down to the fact that I like him. I think he has an incredible voice, great personality, showmanship, and is pretty damn good-looking to boot. I want him to have a successful career – it makes sense that I would have some sort of vested interest in him, unlike you people that fiend over his every happening, and try your best to spin any and every story (like his thoughts (that he isn't entitled to, apparently) on SuBo – which were partially misquoted, and in no way an attack on her, regardless) to destroy someone who already has enough of a battle being the first openly gay from the get-go pop star (although if Australia's any indicator, "abroad" will be an easier feet [see: his performance on their version of SYTYCD - screaming, YOUTHFUL audience - gee wiz]).
It's weird, insane, slightly entertaining, but mostly alarming.
He's not my "Idol." I don't even view him as anything related to that train wreck of a show. People think this season sucks – newsflash: it always has. It promoted nothing but generic bullshit until season 8. Adam, Allison, and Kris were the first few to actually leave any sort of impression on me, and I in no way "hate" Kris. In fact, I am a huge fan of that little power bottom. Adam, of course, may play a part in that, but is album is wonderfully catchy (not necessarily due to his influence, but Red Guitar and BNS is pretty good), and he can play guitar. That said, he's no John Mayer, nor (insert memorable male vocalist). He's a nice little act. Allison is young and will hopefully find a place in the industry, because the girl can sing.
My comments on his fans (i.e. stans) was directly related to the comment about him. No straw man, once again. Critical thinking: you could use some.

Derp has already trashed Clay and Kris, as Lambert fans usually do. Those are the same people that were not happy because that “ugly fat b***h” who is Susan Boyle and that “blind, boring and useless guy” that is Andrea Bocelli beat Glambert. Those are their own words posted in a public board. And this is not about Clay or Kris. If Clay has some middle age fans it might be because the type of music he sings and his voice, very appealing for a wide range of ages. What is incomprehensible is that the type of music Lambert screams,, err sings, appeals to that group of elderly ladies, and it’s even more bizarre that they try to wear the costumes than Lambert wears. The picture above is a proof of it. There must be something very wrong with these ladies.

Derp, what has Paul McCartney got to do with this? They aren’t referring to the artist’s age but the fans’ ages, so your comment is totally irrelevant.
And has it occurred to you that many of us “will always fail to see what anyone saw in” Adam? I’m not a Clay fan nor an Adam fan, but I find it funny that you have to drag Clay into this to try and sway the conversation away from Adam. You comment that you don’t get what some people say in Clay and yet you can’t comprehend that many of us see nothing outstanding in Adam either. It’s fine for you not to like someone, but heaven help us if someone doesn’t like the one you like. It’s almost like a highly inflated sense of entitlement very akin to that of your “idol”.
And to no surprise, you’ve done the usual – run down other singers to try and build up the one you like. That seems very commonplace in the world of Adam Lambert fans.

I can’t understand what Lambert fans see in him, it doesn’t matter their age. I don’t see his appeal. Not that his fanbase is huge, sales say it all, but still.
March 3rd, 2010 at 5:45 pm
Haha, Kris Allen’s entire fanbase is comprised of 25 passive aggressive teenage girls. Thank you and good day, concern troll.
March 3rd, 2010 at 5:27 pm
I’ve noticed this too. It’s like ALL of Adam Lambert’s fans are old women. How odd. I wonder why that is. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just very strange. I’m sure Adam wishes though that his fanbase were younger, and more male (like Kris Allen’s fanbase, come to think of it).
