Matrimonial bliss befits Texas based melodic, indie-pop-rockers, Eisley, who gave away two more DuPree’s Saturday in a double wedding sealing the deal on the 3rd union for the family band within a year. Sherri DuPree’s marriage last April to Say Anything’s front man – Max Bemis – put to rest her troubles w/ NFG guitarist – Gilbert, who divorced her only 9 months into their marriage.

Eisley’s grandfather performed the ceremony for the double wedding Saturday that united guitarist Chauntelle DuPree with luthier Todd D’Agostino of Larose Guitars and drummer Weston DuPree with his high school sweetheart – Jessie Munns.

Eisley, who have toured w/ bands such as Coldplay, The Fray, Switchfoot and Mute Math are finishing details on their 3rd LP and will be showcasing new material at SXSW in Austin this March followed by a 2010 release/tour. Manager and father, Boyd DuPree, say the band’s vision has only grown with new additions to the family and is ready to get the show on the road. Sounds like some celebrating is in order first.

Their successful late Fall ’09 support slot with Say Anything (nicknamed the Honeymoon tour) flushed out an Eisley ep foretelling what is to come – including a track called Ambulance written by Stacy DuPree (dating drummer – Darren King of Mute Math) about the painful details surrounding sister Sherri’s divorce.

Let’s hope the family that plays together stays together.
