Jolie Lets Kids Play With Fake Blood

Angelina Jolie let her kids play with fake blood on the set of her new movie Salt.

The Hollywood actress steps into the role of a secret agent in the action thriller, and the film’s daring stunts meant the film crew kept large supplies of red liquid on location to simulate injuries.

And Jolie admits when her young children, with partner Brad Pitt, visited the movie set they loved getting messy in all the fake blood.

Speaking at the London premiere of Salt, she says,

“I would bring them in early in the mornings… and I’d let them (play with the) blood. So we play together, they try on my wigs, they play with the blood… They know it’s all silly! They test the harnesses and we have them flying around. They know what it is.”

Whacky Amanda Bynes Retires From Acting at 24

You won’t be seeing Amanda Bynes on the big screen anymore.

The actress announced Saturday on Twitter that she was retiring from acting at age 24.

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem,”

she wrote.

“If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it.”

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired,”

she added.

Bynes — who hasn’t starred in a movie since 2007′s Hairspray — added,

“I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been a part of. I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”

Just last Tuesday, she Twittered that her idols are “Marilyn Monroe (RIP) and Angelina Jolie.”

Bynes rose to fame on Nickelodeon’s All That and her own comedy series, The Amanda Show. She starred on her own sitcom, What I Like About You, from 2002 to 2006. She’s also appeared in feature films such as She’s the Man and What a Girl Wants.

Yeah right, she’s going to quit acting and wait tables or work at Walmart.

Amanda is need of some mental help. No doubt about it. I used to follow her twitter (click HERE to get an idea) but her rants and shit about love and work were just out there. Her favorite thing to do was threaten that she was deleting her twitter account, then after an hour of fans begging her not to she would say “OK” and stay. She did this almost daily for a while. Again, read her rants for awhile and you will quickly come to the realization that she needs some help. I hope she gets it.

Angelina Jolie Set To Star As Cleopatra?

Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to play Cleopatra in a new movie she is developing about the legendary Egyptian queen.

The Tomb Raider star is set to follow in the footsteps of Dame Elizabeth Taylor by playing the ancient beauty in a new film based on author Stacy Schiff’s biography Cleopatra: A Life.

Producer Scott Rudin has confirmed that the project is “being developed for and with Jolie”, according to USA Today.

Catherine Zeta-Jones is also in talks to play the Egyptian ruler in a 3D musical to be directed by Steven Soderbergh, with Hugh Jackman as Cleopatra’s lover Marc Antony.

Bodyguard Spills Secrets About Alleged Pitt/Aniston Meeting

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship has hit the headlines again following revelations from a former bodyguard suggesting the movie hunk had a secret meeting with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston in December.

The ex-minder, named Bill, tells In Touch magazine Pitt asked him to keep an eye open for the paparazzi while he hooked up with his ex on a remote Beverly Hills canyon road on December 9th.

But the bodyguard couldn’t help but watch what was going on below him.

He tells the publication, “They were very cozy, clearly embracing. Several times, Brad and Jen were hugging and kissing.”

Bill then alerted the pair when he spotted the paparazzi nearby:

“Jennifer left first, flashing Brad a quick peace sign and a smile. Brad jogged back to his motorcycle, drove off and went for an hour bike ride.”

And the loose-lipped bodyguard insists that wasn’t the first time the former couple had met in secret, claiming Pitt and Aniston previously met up twice in Los Angeles and once in New York, to his knowledge.

The new tabloid story comes after months of speculation about Pitt and Jolie’s relationship – the couple took legal action against a British tabloid earlier this year following reports of a ‘divorce’.

The pair’s publicists have dismissed all claims that the romance is in trouble.

Pitt split from Aniston after meeting Jolie on the set of 2005 action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Johnny Depp’s Girlfriend Wants Him to Quit Film With Angelina Jolie

Sources say singer Vanessa Paradis is not happy with Jolie’s track record of seducing her co-stars.

Johnny Depp’s longtime girlfriend does not intend to join the trail of Hollywood ladies left brokenhearted after Angelina Jolie stole their men, the New York Post reported Thursday.

A source revealed that when French supermodel Vanessa Paradis found out her “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud and Jolie were to shoot a passionate love scene in their new movie “The Tourist,” she ordered Depp to find another gig.

But by all appearances, Depp was not able to cut himself out of the shoot.

Filming started last month, and Depp and Jolie were spied sharing a laugh Tuesday on set at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice.

In the flick, Jolie plays an Interpol agent who seduces a tourist, played by Depp, in order to flush out a criminal she slept with in the past.

Paradis “found out that there was a real long and intense love scene between (Depp) and Jolie,” a source close to the project said.

“He’s currently trying to (get out of the movie), but I don’t know if he’s succeeded. But he’s trying and they’re talking about replacing him with (Jolie’s partner) Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio.”

Reps for Depp, Jolie, Sony Pictures and producer Graham King could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

Jon Voight: ‘Spending Time With Jolie And Kids Is Lovely’

Veteran actor Jon Voight is overjoyed to have been invited to join his daughter Angelina Jolie and her family in Venice, Italy last week after years of estrangement.

The Tomb Raider actress cut Voight out of her life in 2001 after he voiced concerns for her mental health shortly before she adopted son Maddox from Cambodia.

Voight has made several attempts to mend his fractured relationship with Jolie, and he revealed in November the pair is back in contact.

They stepped out in public for the first time in years on Sunday when Voight was pictured with Jolie, her partner Brad Pitt, and their children on a boat trip down the city’s Grand Canal.

Voight is delighted to have the chance to bond with his six grandkids and he hopes it won’t be the last time he gets to visit Jolie and her young family.

Speaking to UsMagazine.com from Venice, where Jolie is shooting new movie The Tourist, he says,

“It’s nice to have something that’s positive! (The canal ride was) lovely. The weather wasn’t so bad for the journey. It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun.

“I love the possibility of spending time with the family. It’s a very beautiful thing.”

And the 71 year old insists Jolie and Pitt’s romance is still going strong, despite recent tabloid rumors of an impending split

He adds, “Of course they are (fine)! You can see!”

Angelina Jolie has stepped out in public with her estranged father Jon Voight for the first time in several years.

The actress cut her dad out of her life in 2001 after he voiced concerns about her mental health shortly before she adopted son Maddox from Cambodia.

Voight has made several attempts to mend his fractured relationship with Jolie, and the veteran star revealed in November the pair is back in contact.

Jolie has now publicly shown she has put her troubles with Voight behind her, after she was snapped enjoying time with him in Venice, Italy, where she is preparing to film The Tourist alongside Johnny Depp.

Voight spent time with Jolie, her partner Brad Pitt, and their children on a boat trip down the city’s Grand Canal.

Jolie: Pitt Persuaded Me To Get Pregnant

Angelina Jolie has credited her partner Brad Pitt with inspiring her to have children of her own, insisting she “didn’t want to get pregnant” until she met him.

The Hollywood actress was already mom to her son Maddox, now eight, when she met Pitt, after adopting the youngster from Cambodia.

After she struck up a relationship with Pitt in 2006, they went on to adopt daughter Zahara, now five, from Ethiopia before Jolie became pregnant with the couple’s first biological child, Shiloh, who was born in 2006. They subsequently adopted another son, Pax, in 2007, before welcoming biological twins, Vivienne and Knox, in 2008.

And Jolie admits she was happy just to take in orphaned children, until Pitt convinced her to become a mom herself.

She tells Australia’s Marie Claire magazine,

“When I met him… I didn’t want to get pregnant. I always wanted to adopt, but I never had the desire of experiencing biological motherhood.

“He taught me to be more patient and to enjoy everything that exists in the world.”

Mother Angelina Jets To Haiti Earthquake Survivors

Angelina Jolie dashed from the Super Bowl to visit Haiti earthquake survivors in a Dominican Republic hospital.

The movie star slipped out of Miami, Florida after cheering the New Orleans Saints to victory and flew to Santo Domingo’s Dario Contrera Hospital, where dozens of survivors of the 12 January earthquake are receiving medical help.

A source claims Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations, toured the hospital on Monday and spoke with several patients, accompanied by Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa.
