Ashlee Simpson refused to show up at the party to celebrate husband Pete Wentz’s new fashion line until the party at Andaz Wall Street was clear of photographers, a source said.

“Ashlee wouldn’t even come down from her room unless assured all the photographers had gone, despite the event being to celebrate her guy’s clothing,”

we’re told.

“Then Nicole Richie showed up and wouldn’t let anyone take her picture because she said she had no makeup on.”

Simpson’s rep said,

“This was Pete’s special night and Ashlee couldn’t have been more proud. She attended the after-party and happily posed for photos.”

What a couple of stuck up bitches, at least Nicole Richie showed up. Every day I hate Ashlee Simpson more and more.There is no smaller celeb that thinks they are the biggest then Ashlee. Can’t wait for her to completely crash and burn, she’s at about 60% now.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s Surprise Farewell To Chicago Cast

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz bid farewell to her Chicago co-stars at the weekend by throwing them an impromptu party to mark the end of her stint in the Broadway musical.

The singer-turned-actress, who appeared as Roxie Hart in the New York production, hung up her dancing shoes earlier this month to make way for ex-Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams.

And she made sure she departed the show on good terms – by treating her castmates to a special surprise bash at her rocker husband Pete Wentz’s Manhattan bar Angels & Kings on Sunday night.

News of the farewell party follows a string of reports alleging the 25 year old had been an unpopular member of the cast. Simpson-Wentz allegedly angered her stage colleagues at an after-party for her New York debut when she barricaded herself and her family in a makeshift VIP section.

Boy Ashlee Simpson-Wentz continues to endear herself to her Chicago cast. They already didn’t like her so this should really seal the deal.

The TOOL was left red-faced on live TV on Thursday – after forgetting the name of her leading man in Broadway musical Chicago.

And, after almost a month of performances, Simpson-Wentz was tongue-tied when asked to recall her co-star Brent Barrett, the actor who plays Billy Flynn, during a segment on breakfast program, The Today Show.

Embarrassed, the star appeared desperate to remember the name, but instead excused herself: “Oh my god! Names, names, names, names, names.”

What an ass!

Ashlee Simpson Already Hated By Fellow Castmembers

Ashlee Simpson is the hottest new thing on Broadway – and not all of her “Chicago” cast members are happy about it.

The starlet, who made her debut at the Ambassador Theatre on Monday night, may have upset some of her fellow thespians when she sat in a “makeshift VIP section” in the Time Hotel at an after-party for the show. “It’s not like this is a club in L.A.,” one cast member grumbled of her diva-esque move. “She has to perform with us for two months.”

But Simpson didn’t seem to care – hubby Pete Wentz, older sis Jessica and dad Joe were all toasting her performance at the Svedka fete. Jess liked the show so much, in fact, she tweeted she was going back the next night.

What a bunch of tools, the whole family including Wentz. Leave to Asslee to alienate her cast opening night. I hope they hang her out to dry with her Diva bullshit!

Mediocrity at it’s best. She can’t sing well and she surely can’t act well yet she lands on Broadway. Something is wrong with this picture.

ASW is set to begin starring in the Broadway show in December for a six-week run.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Tailspin?

Pals fear Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is teetering on the edge of an emotional breakdown after Melrose Place eviction..

The rail-thin 25-year-old singer/actress is devastated after being axed from the cast of Melrose just two months into the season.

“Ashlee didn’t see it coming, and now she’s crushed,” divulged an insider. “She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her.”

The CW network abruptly announced on Oct. 22 that Ashlee’s character Violet was being booted – along with co-star Colin Egglesfield, who plays Auggie. At the same time, the network said it would order a full season of the show.

Even before getting dropped by the show, Ashlee was going through a tough time.

“She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good,”

said the insider.

As The ENQUIRER previously reported Ashlee had been crash dieting and stressing about how she measures up to her gorgeous co-stars.

The 5-foot-6 performer, who gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli in November 2008, is extremely thin, and she’s been substituting Red Bull energy drinks and nuts for meals, say those close to her.

“Ashlee’s friends are concerned that she’s headed for an emotional meltdown,”

said the insider.

“She was desperate to establish herself as a serious actress, but now she’s worried that she’s failing.”

The situation isn’t much better on the home front – Ashlee and rocker husband Pete Wentz, who married in May 2008, have hit a rough patch.

The day Ashlee learned she was getting canned, Pete was partying at a charity event while his wife stayed at home, caring for their sick baby.

“Ashlee is jealous of the groupies who throw themselves at Pete, and Pete is frustrated with Ashlee’s obsession with her looks and her career,”

added the insider.

Simpson-Wentz Dropped From Melrose Place

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has been dropped from U.S. TV series Melrose Place.

The singer/actress landed the role of Violet Foster, a small-town girl new to Los Angeles, in the remake of the 1990s soap opera.

But Simpson-Wentz’s part has now been cut from the show, along with co-star Colin Egglesfield’s character Auggie Kirkpatrick.

Executive producer Todd Slavkin says,

“We felt that once the murder mystery (involving their characters) was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift … and (Simpson-Wentz’s) character would move on.”

Simpson-Wentz and Egglesfield took the news “like professionals” because they were warned they could be dropped from the programme.

Slavkin says, “They knew ahead of time (that leaving was a possibility); it wasn’t a complete shock.”

Jessica Simpson Craves Motherhood

Jessica Simpson is desperate to become a mother, according to her sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

The singer/actress, who recently broke up with her American footballer boyfriend Tony Romo, dotes on nephew Bronx, her sibling’s son with rocker Pete Wentz.

She was forced to deny reports she was pregnant earlier this year but Simpson-Wentz reveals her older sister is getting broody.

Ashlee says, “She’s always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby.’”

She wants a baby like she wants a puppy dog. There is no way this DITZ will be a good mom. She isn’t cut out for it. She’s a train wreck 24 hours a day. Please GOD don’t do that to a poor child.
