David Hasselhoff To Star In Reality TV Show

Former “Baywatch” star David Hasselhoff, whose struggles with alcohol abuse were put on vivid display in a 2007 home video, will star in a reality television series this year.

Cable network A&E said on Wednesday it had ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the still untitled series about the hunky actor nicknamed “The Hoff.”

Hasselhoff, 57, quit his job as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” earlier this month after four years.

The new series will focus on Hasselhoff’s business ventures and his role as a divorced father trying to guide his teenage daughters as they look to break into the recording industry.

It was daughter Taylor-Ann, 19, who in 2007 shot a home video of a drunken and shirtless Hasselhoff laying on the floor and trying to eat a hamburger. The video was widely played on U.S. celebrity news shows.

Now, Taylor-Ann is studying communications at the University of Arizona, while younger daughter Hayley, 17, is an aspiring actress and a model for the fashion line Torrid.

Both girls want to sing professionally. As it happens, the new reality series comes from FremantleMedia North America, a company that produces singing competition “American Idol,” the top-rated show on U.S. television.

“It’s the dream of every parent to be able to help their children succeed,” Hasselhoff said in a statement.

“I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own,” he said, and added “this is their time.”

Sounds like Hulk and Brooke Hogan to me?

Boozy Brooke Hogan Belts One Out In Chicago

Oh, Brooke Hogan!

You really, um, impressed the crowd last night at Enclave nightclub in Chicago.

A source reports that the reality television star/singer showed up at the hotspot “in an utter state of hot drunkenness.”

At about two in the morning, Ms. Hogan jumped on stage and gave an impromptu performance of slurred lyrics and wobbly dance moves.

That Brooke Hogan is always such a class act!!!

Storch Felt Pressured To Work With Brooke Hogan

Music producer Scott Storch only agreed to help Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke launch a pop career because he felt “pressured” into it by the wrestling legend.

The beatmaker, known for his work with 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and Beyonce, admits he was constantly high on cocaine when he met with the Hogans in 2006 to discuss working on the blond singer’s career.

He ended up signing Brooke Hogan as the first artist to his label Storch Music Company, but he admits his judgment was so clouded by the amount of drugs he was taking, the music was far from the quality he had become known for.

Storch, who has since beat his drug addiction, tells Details magazine,

“I was doing blow (cocaine) 24/7. It was out of control.

“I love Brooke, but I did that s**t because her father was putting all sorts of pressure on me.

“Sure, it was fun. But the thing is, I didn’t make one good bit of music when I was high on coke. Not one bit.”

Singer Hogan parted ways with Storch 10 months after her album Undiscovered was released in October 2006.

Is there a bigger TOOL then Scott Storch. High, dry I don’t give a shit this guy is a fucking asshole! What did Hulk do put you in a headlock?

You were hoping to get a little Cooch so you went for the deal. Now years later because it was SHIT you’ll say you were pressured. For that Scott, you are my TOOL OF THE DAY!
