‘Spilled Drink’ Set Off Lohan’s Alcohol Bracelet

Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol-monitoring bracelet was set off when a reveler at the MTV Movie Awards spilled a drink on the actress’ leg, according to her mother.

The Mean Girls star was ordered to wear the Scram device last month after missing probation hearings related to drug and drink-driving arrests.

The anklet reportedly began flashing during an afterparty following the awards show in Los Angeles on Sunday and a judge issued a bench warrant for Lohan’s arrest.

The warrant was recalled after the star posted extra bail money, but even though an official report “indicated the presence of a small amount of alcohol”, Lohan was adamant she did “nothing” to trigger the gadget.

Now Lohan’s mother, Dina, has claimed the device detected the presence of alcohol after a partygoer accidentally splashed some booze on the star.

Dina says,

“She was at the MTV Awards and somebody spilled a drink on her leg, which must have set off the Scram bracelet. She has done absolutely nothing wrong and shouldn’t have to wear the bracelet in the first place. She is doing absolutely fine.”

What an asshole, Dina you are not helping your daughter with this bullshit. When she’s dead I hope you and your fucked up hubby take a good long look at yourselves and then do a murder suicide. Please!

Amityville Horror House Up For Sale

The house which inspired 1979 movie The Amityville Horror is up for sale.

The five-bedroom property, situated in Long Island, New York, was the scene of a grisly multiple murder in 1974 which saw six members of the DeFeo family killed as they slept. Eldest son Ronald DeFeo, Jr. was later convicted of the killings.

The film, starring James Brolin and Margot Kidder, was based on the story of a family who moved into the house after the murders, and went on to allegedly witness paranormal activities.

And now horror fans have the chance to own the infamous house – it was put up for sale on Monday for $1.15 million.

Paul Wesley’s Rep Dismisses ‘Secret Wedding’ Rumours

A representative for actor Paul Wesley has dismissed rumors The Vampire Diaries star has secretly married Torrey Devitto after he introduced the actress as his “wife” at a recent awards show.

Wesley sparked reports he had quietly wed the One Tree Hill star following comments he made to reporters at the Young Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

He is said to have introduced his girlfriend to journalists as his “wife” and rumors of a secret wedding were fueled when DeVitto was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand.

But a rep for Wesley says the actor was “joking” when he made the comments and DeVitto’s sparkling band is just “a promise ring,” adding the couple is “neither engaged nor married.”

Smith: ‘I’ll Never Fly Southwest Again’

Moviemaker Kevin Smith has vowed never to fly the unfriendly skies with airline Southwest again after he was asked to leave a plane on Saturday because he was too fat.

The director was offended when airline staff asked him to vacate his seat on a flight bound for Los Angeles from Oakland, California – and, despite two public apologies, Smith insists he’ll never fly with Southwest again.

In a post on his popular website, the humiliated filmmaker has promised to “scorch the earth” with his complaints against airline bosses.

Smith suggests he may have been kicked off the flight by a disgruntled airline employee who did not like his films.

And the director, who reportedly bought 10 Southwest tickets so far this month, insists, “I’m never going on Southwest again.”

In response, a spokesman for the airline says, “We want to assure everyone that has expressed concern over the situation that we will use this experience in our customer service program when training our employees on the correct way to apply the policy.”

Chynna Phillips Checks Herself Into Rehab

Singer Chynna Phillips has entered rehab, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

“After much thoughtful deliberation, Chynna Phillips has checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility for anxiety,”

her rep, Lizzie Grubman, tells Us in a statement.

“With the full support of her family and friends, she is looking forward to her recovery. We ask that people respect her and her family’s privacy at this time.”

Phillips, 42, was a member of ’90s band Wilson Phillips. She has three children with her Gossip Girl husband, Billy Baldwin.

Kevin Smith Fights Airline Over Too Fat Jibe

Heavyweight filmmaker Kevin Smith has challenged bosses of a top U.S. airline to prove he was “too fat” for a flight at the weekend – and vowed to donate $10,000 to charity if they succeed.

The star and director of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was asked to leave a Southwest Airlines plane from Oakland to Burbank, California on Saturday after the captain became concerned his weight would be a safety risk.

Smith was offered a $100 airline voucher as compensation, but rejected the money – and is still fuming about the way he was treated.

The moviemaker is adamant he is a regular passenger with the airline and has never experienced any problems before – and has challenged executives at the company to prove he is too large for their seats.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, Smith writes,

“I don’t want their $ (money); just want to call attention to their policy so large folks think twice before buying.”

“Contrary to their claim that I regularly purchase two seats, I wasn’t a regular 2-seat buyer until just this week. They Seized on that. In their ‘apology’ blog, they implied (or flat-out wrote) that I regularly purchase 2 seats. Writing that buttresses their lie: 2 Fat 2 Fly.”

“But, by their own guidelines, I was not, in fact, 2 Fat 2 Fly: the arm rests went down & I could buckle my seat belt w/o an extender. So…? Hey @SouthwestAir: you bring that same row of seats to the DailyShow, and I’ll sit in ‘em for all to see on TV.”

“If I don’t fit, I’ll donate $10k to charity of your choice. But when I do (& buckle the belt as well)? 1) You admit you lied. 2) Change your policy, or at least re-train your staff to be a lot more human and a lot less corporate.”

Rep Addresses Alba’s Theatre Walk-out

A representative has brushed off speculation Jessica Alba is disgusted by her violent new movie The Killer Inside Me, after the actress was spotted walking out of its screening.

Alba plays a prostitute who is bludgeoned by a psychotic killer in the upcoming thriller, which has come under fire from critics for its excessive gore.

And the 28 year old sparked rumors that even she couldn’t tolerate the bloody scenes after leaving a theatre halfway through a screening at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on Sunday.

But her spokesperson insists Alba only left the cinema to catch a plane.

Her rep Brad Cafarelli explains,

“This rumor is silly and not accurate at all. Jessica had seen the final version of the film just prior to coming to Sundance and was pleased with the outcome. She came in to support the film and the filmmakers by introducing the screening, which she did, and left right after to get home to her family in L.A., as planned.”

Who the hell has a plane flight scheduled that they have to leave the screening of the movie they are there to promote? I call BULLSHIT on this one!

Thieves Allegedly Steal Over $1M From Usher

Singer Usher reportedly had over $1 million worth of jewelry, electronics and cash stolen from his car last month.

According to the police report, the singer’s GMC Yukon was broken into and over a million dollars worth of jewelry, $50,000 in furs and clothing and about $20,000 in cash were snatched.

I call BULLSHIT on this one? Who the hell keeps a million dollars worth of shit in their car? Celebrity or not this is a little hard to believe.

Someone got robbed and is going to PAD the claim to get a fat insurance check.

2 of 3 Dixie Chicks Returning With New Music

Two members of the Dixie Chicks – minus lead singer Natalie Maines – are preparing to release a new album this year.

According to CMT.com, sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison are working on a project to be released on Columbia Records.

However, Lloyd Maines, Natalie’s father, tells CMT.com that the three girls are “definitely still an entity.” He says the sisters are “cutting some demos” and that Natalie recorded “a little something with them” about a year ago.

The Associated Press’ attempts to contact their publicist and Columbia Records were unsuccessful.

The Dixie Chicks suffered a backlash from fans and country radio over comments Natalie Maines made about President George W. Bush in 2003. The Chicks released their last album in 2006, called “Taking the Long Way.”

The group has won 13 Grammys and was named the CMA entertainer of the year in 2000.

Well that’s the end of the Dixie Chicks. Do not believe the bullshit your being fed. 2 of 3 would not release a record if the group wasn’t over. They are not going to come out and tell you the band is no more and hurt the release of the sisters album. Just like Jonas Brothers, you can stick a for in the Dixie Chicks because they are DONE!!!
