Simon Cowell Ups Fortune By $69 Million In Past Year

British TV personality and music producer Simon Cowell increased his personal fortune by 45 million pounds ($69 million) in the past year, according to The Sunday Times’ annual rich list.

Cowell, best known for his roles as a brutally honest judge on TV talent shows “The X Factor” and “American Idol,” earned more than half of his 165 million pound fortune from television work alone over the past two years, the paper said.

Cowell’s fellow X Factor judge Cheryl Cole saw her personal wealth increase 150 percent to 10 million pounds.

The rich list, which profiles the 1,000 richest people and families in Britain, is based on identifiable wealth, such as land, property and significant shares in publicly quoted companies, and excludes wealth held in bank accounts.

It includes anyone born in Britain, based in Britain, or who has a major share of their wealth in Britain.

Mickey Rourke has confirmed his reputation as a womanizer – he once bedded 14 ladies in one night.

The Wrestler star has slept with several of Hollywood’s sexiest women, including Terry Farrell and Carre Otis.

And he boasts his way with women makes the alleged cheating by England soccer star Ashley Cole on his pop star wife Cheryl Cole look innocent.

He says,

“Forget Ashley Cole, his behavior has nothing on a film star. WAGs (wives and girlfriends) get an easy time – they should try living with Hollywood hell raisers. I once spent a weekend in the U.K. and had 14 women in one night.

“British footballers have got nothing on us when it comes to women. If you WAGs knew what Hollywood’s stars get up to you’d think you were married to pussycats.”

Rourke is currently dating Russian model Elena Kuletskaya. Girls Aloud singer Cole announced her split from her husband last month after he allegedly cheated on her with five women.

Big shock! Who didn’t see this coming?

British singer and TV personality Cheryl Cole says she is separating from her husband, football (soccer) player Ashley Cole.

The 26-year-old Girls Aloud pop singer is a judge for the British reality talent show “The X Factor” along with Simon Cowell. She asked the media to respect her privacy “during this difficult time” in a statement issued Tuesday by her publicist.

Ashley Cole plays left back for Chelsea and the England national team.

British media had speculated the marriage was in trouble after tabloids published front-page stories reportedly linking Ashley Cole to other women.

Cheryl Cole’s song “Fight for This Love” was nominated for a 2010 Brit award.

Red Hot Cheryl Cole Now Has Plump Lips

It’s usually her revealing outfits with attract the most attention.

But this occasion, no garment, however outrageous, could have drawn attention away from Cheryl Cole’s alarmingly over sized lips.

The X Factor star’s mouth looked unusually plump as she arrived in London yesterday – prompting speculation that she has used Collagen injections.

Representatives of the Girls Aloud singer denied this was the case, saying ‘she has definitely not’.

But Miss Cole was seen trying to cover up her mouth with her hand as she walked through the airport.

When she did reveal her face, her normally slim lips appeared to have swelled somewhat into a ‘trout pout’.

Hey I believe Cheryl, maybe she was stung by a bee on the airplane?

Simon Cowell Recruiting X Factor Judges

Simon Cowell is talking to familiar faces to sit beside him at the judges table on Fox’s “The X Factor.”

Cowell is in discussions with his former “American Idol” co-star Paula Abdul and his current “X Factor” U.K. co-star Cheryl Cole for judging positions on the show, which launches on Fox in fall 2011.

Hiring Abdul and Cole would assure a certain degree of comfortable chemistry between Cowell and other judges on the new series.

Abdul in particular would allow Cowell to reform the heart of the longtime “Idol” judging team, which was split when Abdul quit the show in August amid contract dispute.

This is Cowell’s final season on “Idol.”

The judges on “X Factor” are if anything more crucial to the success of the show than on “Idol” because each mentors a group of singers and effectively becomes part of the competition rather than simply grading from the sidelines.

Cowell has said he “adores” Abdul and shares a similarly close onscreen camaraderie with Cole on the U.K. version of the show. Cole, 26, also would add a more youthful presence to the judges’ table.

Kate Winslet’s curves are proving popular – she’s topped a poll of the celebrity bodies women would most love to have.

The shapely Titanic star ranked above British actress Kelly Brook and former Bond girl Halle Berry, who were at number two and three respectively in the survey by U.K. diet company Slimming World.

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole polled in fourth place, with Beyonce rounding out the top five.

Other celebrities to reach the top ten include Smile hitmaker Lily Allen, actress Sienna Miller and supermodel Kate Moss.

Meanwhile super-slim pop star-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham only received one per cent of the votes.

UK Singer Cheryl Cole Scores A Chart Double

Singer Cheryl Cole’s debut solo album joined her first solo single at the top of the British pop charts on Sunday.

Cole, a member of Girls Aloud and a judge on the hit British TV talent show “The X Factor,” becomes only the 12th female artist to have claimed top spot in both charts at the same time, the Official Charts Company said.

She follows in the footsteps of the likes of Barbra Streisand, Madonna and Celine Dion. Lily Allen and Lady Gaga have also matched the achievement this year, as did last week’s albums and singles champ “X Factor” winner Alexandra Burke.

Cole’s album “3 Words” entered the charts in top spot ahead of Canadian singer Michael Buble’s “Crazy Love” with Michael Jackson’s posthumous “This Is It” debuting in third place.

“’3 Words’ now looks set to be one of the biggest albums of this coming Christmas,” said Martin Talbot, Managing Director of the Official Charts Company.

“Coming Home,” a debut album of covers by the Soldiers, three serving British servicemen to raise money for a military charity, was another new entry in fourth. Burke’s “Overcome” fell to fifth.

Meanwhile Cole’s “Fight for This Love,” which has already become the fastest-selling song of the year, remained in top spot in the singles chart.

Irish boy band Westlife’s “What About Now” debuted in second place with “Down,” a new entry from British R&B singer Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne, in third.

Burke’s “Bad Boys” fell to fourth, while Buble’s “Haven’t Met You Yet” was in fifth.
