Courtney Love Wants More Film Roles

Courtney Love is eying a return to the big screen – she wants to revive her acting career.

The grunge rocker has had roles in Hollywood films including 200 Cigarettes and Man on the Moon and was even nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe for her performance in The People vs. Larry Flynt.

And Love, who recently released her fourth Hole album, Nobody’s Daughter, admits she dreams of taking on another big screen project.

She tells Britain’s Kerrang! magazine,

“When I first started acting I passed on The Matrix, on L.A. Confidential. I passed on a lot of stuff because I really wasn’t ready to pass on the rock thing. I’m still not ready to give that up but I’d like to do the acting part-time.”

Courtney Love: I Try Harder In Bed

Courtney Love says she’s good in bed because she’s unattractive.

After claiming on “The Howard Stern Show” she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale after he married No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani, Love tells music journalist Toure she’s a love goddess “because I was never pretty. Pretty girls just lie there.

Us girls who grew up a little more homely have to try a lot harder. That’s why pretty girls never threaten me — it’s like, yeah, you want to take me on? Take me on. Go for it.” Toure interviewed Love for Fuse’s “On the Record” show.

You know I have to agree about the homely girls trying harder but I wouldn’t say that Love is unattractive.

Johansson ‘Intrigued’ By Love Role

Scarlett Johansson has confirmed she would be interested in playing Courtney Love in a big screen biopic of the rocker’s late husband Kurt Cobain.

Movie bosses are currently in talks to bring the Nirvana frontman’s life story to cinemas, with the help of his widow, Love, who will act as an adviser on the project.

Love has been talking about the film in recent weeks, announcing she would like to see either Ryan Gosling or James McAvoy to play her late husband, and she’s named Johansson as her favourite to play her in the movie.

Now Johansson has addressed the rumors, admitting she hasn’t been approached about the project – but is “intrigued” about the possibility of playing the Hole frontwoman.

She tells MTV News,

“I know that there is a script. That’s as much as I know about it. I’m a big fan of Courtney’s, and I think she’s very, very talented. But I don’t know anything about the project. I think the idea is interesting and intriguing, but I would have to really wrap my head around it.”

Courtney Love: Gavin Cheated on Gwen — With Me!

Courtney Love claims she slept with Gavin Rossdale even though he was with Gwen Stefani.

On The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM Radio Monday, the Hole rocker, 45, said she had a “vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time … We were like, ‘Let’s go spend our rock star money!’”

During their eight months together, “we had a really good time…” she said. “He was lovely.”

She said she took heat because many thought Rossdale, 44, was too much like her ex, late Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain.

“Everyone gave me so much s— because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt….”

Love said.

“But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed … something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know.”

Stern then asked her,

“You were [having sex] him while he was with Gwen Stefani?”

“Yes,” Love replied. “She does know.”

Stern continued:

“You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?”

“Everyone … yeah … and a few other people,” Love said. “We didn’t have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit.”

Rossdale has yet to comment on Love’s claims.

This isn’t the first time Rossdale has been in a scandal.

In 2004, DNA tests revealed that he has a secret lovechild years before meeting Stefani, 40. She was said to be “devastated.”

The two, who wed in 2002, have two sons together: Kingston, almost 4, and Zuma, 1 1/2.

Billy Corgan Has No Love for Courtney

The power of the tweet! Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan is using his Twitter to lash out at former friend Courtney Love.

Corgan takes aim at Love specifically over her new Hole album, “Nobody’s Daughter,” claiming she stole songs he wrote for her back when they were collaborating.

“Thought #1: my face is my face, my heart is my heart, my money is my money. Oh, and my songs are MY songs+If you can’t write your own songs?”

he tweeted.

Then,

“Thought #2: if you can’t write your own songs maybe you should just be happy that you fooled someone into doing your work for you…”

Corgan goes on to attack the singer for living off of her late husband, Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, and for being a bad mom to her teenage daughter, Frances Bean, who Corgan tweets is “smarter, cooler and better” than her mother.

No stranger to social networking, Love tweeted her own subdued response, writing,

“All i am is nice about you so if you wanna be mean be mean i dont feel anything.”

Earlier this month, she wrote an apology to Corgan on her Facebook over the use of the songs on her album.

“I hope you will take my sincerest apologies for all the thousand ways I sometimes offend you, because I know you are a king, a prince, and my beautiful noble boy.”

Courtney Love Claims She Hung Out With Jessica Simpson

Talk about an odd couple.

In a series of Twitter posts, Courtney Love claims she hung out with Jessica Simpson Friday night.

“We chewed Nicorette,”

she wrote in a message to Billy Corgan and Simpson’s ex John Mayer, who once called her “sexual napalm.”

In her message, Love also referenced Mayer’s “napalm” comment and added that Simpson was “hawt as hell” and that they “bonded.”

Next, Love Twittered to Simpson, saying she won’t “say anything stupid” but had a serious question for her.

She then praised Simpson for being “really hot” and being “a very hardworking pop singer who deserved success.”

But she asked:

“why the HE:LL [sic] do you chew Nicorette gum and are addicted to it yet have never smoked in yr life? Dude i do blonde things too.”
