Katie Holmes is the latest celebrity in talks to join the cast of hit TV musical Glee, according to online reports.

The former Dawson’s Creek star is reportedly negotiating a deal with Fox network bosses to feature in a five-part guest spot during Glee’s upcoming second season.

The National Enquirer reports Holmes has already hired a private singing coach to help her prepare for the role.

A source says: “Katie is finalizing a deal to join the cast for a limited story line next season.”

Previous episodes of the hit series have featured cameos by Olivia Newton-John, rapper Eve, Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth and comedienne Molly Shannon.

Glee hunk Matthew Morrison has fueled rumors he is dating British model/actress Kelly Brook after the pair enjoyed a day together in London on Wednesday.

The Smallville star split from British rugby player Danny Cipriani earlier this month and reportedly enjoyed an intimate night out with Morrison during his U.K. promotional tour last week.

And Morrison sparked further speculation of a new romance on Wednesday after he dined with Brook at a posh restaurant in London’s Mayfair district before taking in England’s World Cup soccer match against Slovenia in a nearby bar.

Daniel Radcliffe Wants Glee Role

Daniel Radcliffe is desperate to land a role in hit TV show Glee so he can show off his newly-acquired singing and dancing skills.

The Harry Potter star has signed up to appear in a production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway next year, and he’s been busy preparing for the role by taking dance classes and vocal lessons.

Radcliffe admits he dreams of joining the cast of Glee, but he might need some more practice first.

He says,

“Yes, absolutely (I want a role in Glee)… Of course… it’s an amazing show and I (would) obviously be honored to be asked. But, I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet. They’ve got standards like (Glee star) Kristin Chenoweth.”

Fox Renews ‘Glee’ For Third Season

Fox on Monday gave another vote of confidence to freshman hit “Glee,” renewing it for a third season.

The news comes ahead of the Tuesday finale of this TV season’s highest-rated new show.

“In just one year, “Glee” has transcended the television landscape and emerged as a global pop culture phenomenon,” said Peter Rice, chairman, entertainment at Fox Networks Group. “We are incredibly proud to have talent like (executive producer) Ryan Murphy and the “Glee” cast in our Fox family, and we can’t wait to see where Ryan takes the show in seasons two and three.”

‘Glee’ Star Not ‘Ashamed’ Of Her Nude Pics

Actress/dancer Heather Morris, who plays ditsy blonde cheerleader Brittany on “Glee,” doesn’t mind that some early nude modeling photos of her have resurfaced.

No, I kind of thought it might happen,” Morris told “Extra” at the Maxim Hot 100 party Wednesday. “I understand completely where it came from. For me, I think they are beautiful. It’s not something I’m ashamed of. Everybody should do tasteful beautiful nudes — so when you get older you’re gonna be like, ‘Oh that’s when my body looked so great!’

What about the upcoming Lady Gaga episode on “Glee,” in which Morris has to wear a lobster costume. “Crazy. It was painful and a little bit hard to wear but was probably the coolest thing I got to wear, so I enjoyed every second of it. But dancing in it is the hardest thing.”

Morris attended the party with her “Glee” co-star and friend, Naya Rivera, who made the Maxim Hot 100 list.

“It’s so awesome,” Rivera exclaimed. “To be put on list like this, that’s been around forever and I just got on the scene — it feels like my hard work is paying off.”

Lea Michele Apologises To Photographer

Glee star Lea Michele has apologized to a photographer after she rudely dismissed him at a gala on Tuesday.

Photographer Patrick McMullan asked the actress for her name after taking her picture at the Time 100 Gala – but the brunette is said to have responded by rolling her eyes and naming other celebrities at the event, including country star Taylor Swift and former U.S. vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Now Michele is hoping to make amends with McMullan after reports of the incident began circulating.

In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, Michele writes,

“Big apology to PatrickMcMullan. Totally didn’t expect you (or anyone) Time 100 to know who I was w/ (with) all the amazing people there.

“(I) made a silly joke that didn’t go over, so sorry. It was such an incredible night and I was beyond honoured and thrilled to be there.”

Michele was one of 100 stars, including Swift, Lady Gaga, Sir Elton John and Robert Pattinson, who attended the dinner to celebrate America’s Time magazine editors naming them as the most influential people in the world.

Glee’s Matthew Morrison Bashes Britney!

After a whopping 13.5 million viewers tuned in to Glee’s Madonna-themed episode on April 20, Britney Spears’ manager, Adam Leber, began a campaign for a special installment featuring tunes by the singer, 28, Twittering,

“Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of Glee?”

Apparently, not everybody does — including the Fox series’ star! Asked about the possibility on the red carpet at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., on May 1, Matthew Morrison, 31, said, ”

That’s a rumor her manager started. I hope our show doesn’t go along that route.”

Ouch!

Paris Hilton Dating Glee Star Salling?

Paris Hilton’s heart is full of Glee again just weeks after her split from Doug Reinhardt – the socialite is reportedly dating TV hunk Mark Salling.

Hilton confirmed she ended her on/off romance with former The Hills star Reinhardt earlier this month, and insists she is already “over” the break-up.

And according to reports, the hotel heiress has danced into the arms of Salling, who plays reformed bad boy Puck on hit TV show Glee – and she’s already introduced the actor/musician to her parents.

A source says, “Paris is definitely smitten.”

Hilton likes her bad boys – past lovers have included punk pop star Benji Madden and wildman Rick Salomon.

Jane Lynch To Wed Partner

Glee star Jane Lynch is to wed her longtime partner Lara Embry.

The Julie & Julia star went public with the happy news she and her psychologist partner had become engaged at a Glee event in Hollywood on Saturday, but refused to go into details about dates and venues.

The 49-year-old star’s publicist recently dismissed reports of marriage plans, but Lynch has now revealed, “It’s true.”

The actress added, “We don’t have any plans at all yet, but I have a ring and everything.”
