Dating your agent must be the hot new thing in Hollywood.
Hilary Swank left her husband for her agent, Britney Spears is currently seeing one of her agents. Guess this fad will replace the single mother fad that swept Hollywood stars the past decade.
Newly-single actress Reese Witherspoonhas been hit by rumors she’s dating a Hollywood talent agent – just days after she was falsely linked to Scottish actor Gerard Butler.
The Legally Blonde star, 33, split from long time boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal late last year, and she was subsequently rumored to have become involved with Butler.
A rep for Butler dismissed the reports, reports have now linked Witherspoon to agent Jim Toth, after the pair was snapped enjoying dinner together in Santa Monica, California last Thursday.
Toth works for Creative Artists Agency, the organization which represents Witherspoon, but a source says the intimate evening out was “a date (but) nothing serious.”
The insider adds, “(They) were very flirtatious throughout dinner. They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good.”
Witherspoon has two children Ava, 10, and Deacon, six, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
Hilary Swank once surprised her boyfriend by canceling his flight home and showing up at the airport in her own plane.
The actress, who learned to fly for her role in new movie Amelia, has been dating her agent, John Campisi, since 2006.
And Swank’s beau was stunned when she arrived at a Las Vegas airport as he prepared to board a plane, and offered to fly him home herself.
She says,
“One morning I said to my flight instructor: ‘Can we pick up my boyfriend?’ So we flew to Vegas and I cancelled my boyfriend’s flight. He said: ‘I’m getting in that plane?’ And I’m like: ‘Yeah you’d better. We flew all this way, you’d better get in it.’ He white-knuckled it the whole flight.”
Hilary Swank showed off her high-flying skills on TV talk show Oprah on Wednesday when she took to the skies with a fan.
The two-time Oscar winner is trying to cram in as much air time as possible in an effort to land her pilot’s license – and she agreed to give a fan a thrill ride with the help of her flight instructor Gene.
Taking off from Santa Monica Airport in California, Swank, who plays aviator Amelia Earhart in her new film, stunned 29 year old Abbey from Iowa when she stepped out of the plane and asked, “Are you ready to fly with me?”
Giddy Abbey sat behind Swank, chuckling, “Wow! Oh my God! Hilary Swank is my pilot.”
The actress flew her passenger over the home she’s renting, joking, “I was trying to see if I could see my dogs running around the yard.”
And Abbey gave the star the thumbs up as a pilot, complimenting her on a smooth landing and adding, “You’re a very good pilot… That was amazing.”
Doesn’t look there will be an Oscar in the cards this year for actress Hilary Swank. Reviews are in for her new film Amelia where she portrays female flyer Amelia Earhart and they are horrendous to say the least.
One major reviewer giving the film 1 Star and calling it ‘dead on arrival’.
Shame, we like Hilary and her work. Better luck next movie.
Actress Hilary Swank has given up her 18-year vegetarian diet in a bid to gain weight and stay healthy.
The 35 year old abandoned vegetarianism two years ago when she suddenly started dropping pounds.
Swank admits she’s much happier with her figure since the drastic diet change, but she still struggles with eating animal flesh.
She tells America’s Marie Claire magazine,
“I just started withering away. I wasn’t getting enough vitamins or protein. (It was) very emotional.
“I sat over my plate and cried. I really had to work through it. It still makes me emotional. I don’t know if you have ever looked into a cow’s eye, but it is so soulful. So I don’t like it – but it’s something I have to do.”
