Demi Moore gave daughter Rumer Willis a pole-dancing lesson at a party at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood.

A partygoer said that the “Striptease” star “even spun around the pole upside down.” Then Rumer gave it a whirl as Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo DiCaprio cheered her on at the recent bash. “Everyone was cheering, and Leo gave Ashton a high-five,” the source added.

In her latest GOOP newsletter, the actress, 37, sings the praises of celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson (who also works with Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox).

“She has kicked my formerly sagging ass into shape, and I will be forever grateful,”

Paltrow blogs.

She shares a video of the trainer’s “little arm series,” which she did every day while “preparing for Iron Man.”

The lower arm exercises, she writes, work wonders, “especially for the batwing problem.”

Mexican Military And Hotel Staff Protected Aniston From Paparazzi

Jennifer Aniston’s Mexican vacation was made extra special by One & Only Palmilla resort staff in Cabo San Lucas and the local military – they teamed up to prevent the prowling paparazzi from ruining her birthday break.

The actress jetted off to Mexico with friends and reported new man Gerard Butler to celebrate her 41st birthday and she’s thrilled with the efforts locals made to keep her holiday a peaceful and private trip.

In an agreed TV interview with news reporter Billy Bush, the actress pointed out the paparazzi boats out at sea, full of snappers who tried to get saucy shots of the star.

But resort staff, police and the local coastguard went beyond the call of duty to make sure the trip was a relaxing one.

She explains,

“Our gang… has been holding up these mirrors… to sort of disrupt their photographs… I think any guest who comes here would hope to have a little privacy. I think it’s very nice.”

“Taylor and John are absolutely more than ‘just friends,’” a source tells Hollywoodlife.com.

“They aren’t ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ or anything as provincial as that, but they have taken their friendship to the next level,” the source adds.

Rumors about the pair have been floating around for a few weeks.

God, this is one pairing I hope isn’t happening.

Jennifer Aniston Hosting Haiti Fundraiser

Jennifer Aniston is hosting a benefit screening of The Last Station to raise funds for Haiti.

The former Friends star will introduce the movie, starring Dame Helen Mirren and James McAvoy, before holding a cocktail party with director, Michael Hoffman.

All funds raised will benefit AmeriCares, a relief charity Aniston personally donated to following last month’s disaster.

The generous star gave up her time to answer phones at the all-star Hope for Haiti Now telethon on 22 January and she has donated a reported $500,000to various charities taking part in the Haiti earthquake relief effort.

Brad, Angelina Spend Weekend Apart?

As split rumors swirl, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent the weekend apart.

Pitt, 46, reunited with ex Jennifer Aniston at Friday’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon in Los Angeles.

Where was Jolie, 34? Her whereabouts remain unknown. Though some reports claim she was in New York City shooting an upcoming Vanity Fair cover, a magazine rep tells Us: “The reports from this weekend are incorrect.”

Pitt and Jolie – who have six kids together – haven’t been photographed together since Jan. 2 when they shared a romantic dinner at the NYC French restaurant Le Perigord.

Stick a fork in this couple, they’re done!

Aniston Not Planning Trip To Cougar Town

Jennifer Aniston’s representative has dismissed reports the actress will reunite with her Friends co-star Courteney Cox in the second season of her U.S. TV hit Cougar Town.

The star was alleged to have signed up to make a guest appearance on the sitcom, following in the footsteps of her former Friends castmate Lisa Kudrow.

A spokesman for Aniston insists the rumors are false, although he has refused to rule out the possibility in the future.

The rep says, “At present there are no plans for Jennifer to be on the show. (But) never say never.”

Aniston isn’t the only former Friends star to turn down the offer – Matthew Perry refused to romance Cox for the new comedy in November.

But Cox shouldn’t be too disappointed – Cougar Town, in which the star plays a middle-aged single mother on the hunt for a younger man, has been picked up for a second season by ABC network bosses.

Aniston Was The Force Behind New Paparazzi Bill

Jennifer Aniston has been named as the force behind a new state law in California, which will restrict the paparazzi in 2010 and beyond.

Aniston’s activism was instrumental in the success of Assembly Bill 524, which takes effect from Friday, according to Democrat and Assembly Speaker Karen Bass, who has revealed the actress’ horror stories prompted her to fast track the legislation.

The new law allows for civil penalties against members of the paparazzi and media outlets that sell and buy unlawfully obtained photographs and video footage of people, including celebrities and their families, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Bass tells the publication, she wrote the bill after Aniston and a group of celebrities she assembled helped her to understand just how bad the Los Angeles paparazzi problem had become.

The actress tells the Times,

“There have to be some boundaries. When you have children in the car and the photographers are rushing you, it’s just absolutely out of control.

“It’s become a public safety issue. Somebody’s going to die if we don’t do something.”

The measure was signed into law in October by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has topped an online poll of celebrities people most want to spend the Christmas holidays with.

The openly-gay star snatched 36 per cent of more than 60,000 votes registered at PopEater.com.

DeGeneres beat Jennifer Aniston to the top spot – the Friends actress attracted 30 per cent of the votes, ahead of Taylor Swift in third with 20 per cent.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie came fourth with eight per cent, and U.S. reality TV mum Kate Gosselin rounded out the countdown at five with five per cent.
