Jennifer Lopez: Tom Cruise Was “Intense, Crazy” Dancing at MTV Awards

Jennifer Lopez was impressed with Tom Cruise.

“Working with Tom was amazing!” Lopez, 40, gushes to Extra. “I’m such a hard worker, and I’m kind of intense about my job. It’s great to work with someone who is just as intense and passionate and crazy about getting everything right.”

A month before the show, the 47-year-old Cruise ­- who dressed as his potbellied film producer Les Grossman for the act — called the singer personally to convince her to join him on stage.

The new Us Weekly reports the two rehearsed together for the first time just two days before the show.

“I said OK, we’d do a little mash-up of [Ludacris' 'Get Back' and Lopez's 'Get Right'],” Lopez recalls. “I come out and sing a little and then we dance together. But [I told him] you have to learn this cane dance that I do n the video.

“That is one of the hardest routines. But he did it,” she adds. “He really, really did it. And he did a great job! I was really proud of him.”

Kardashian’s Ex-husband Speaks Out

Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband has slammed the reality TV star as a “fame whore” just two weeks after leaked court documents revealed the couple’s marriage was full of abuse and jealousy.

Music producer Damon Thomas has disputed Kardashian’s claims in the divorce papers and now he has gone on the attack.

As part of an expose in the upcoming issue of America’s In Touch magazine, he insists his ex

“can’t write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media. That’s a fame whore to me. It’s just not cool at all.”

In the divorce papers, obtained by U.S. tabloid the Star last month, Kardashian alleged she suffered brutal beatings at the hands of her ex shortly after the pair eloped in 2000.

Describing one particularly bad incident before a meeting with her pal Justin Timberlake, she wrote,

“(We) were going skydiving with Justin Timberlake. Before we left our home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open. I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving.”

Kardashian also claims Thomas demanded to know her every move:

“If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house. He said that he wanted to know where I was at all times.”

But now Thomas, who divorced Kardashian in 2003, is telling his side of the story, insisting his ex is not all she seems.

He tells In Touch exclusively,

“Kim is obsessed with fame. She’s jealous and competitive with her sisters.”

And of her abuse claims, he insists,

“It’s just absolutely not true,” adding she accused him of abuse in order to get “a lot of money” out of him.

Thomas reveals he filed for divorce first – because Kardashian was allegedly cheating on him with “multiple guys”. Kardashian has denied the claim.

The music producer reveals he and Kardashian briefly reconciled, but he decided enough was enough when he saw photos of her on a date with Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Cris Judd.

He recalls,

“I saw my wife with another man, wearing the clothes that we had just bought… It was not something as a husband you ever wanted to see.”

Kim seems to be a real player! I wouldn’t date that big ass if you paid me. Just let me look!

Jennifer Lopez Treats Film Fans With Surprise Appearance

Jennifer Lopez gave fans at a pre-release screening of her new movie an extra special treat on Thursday night – when she showed up to say hi.

The singer/actress was an unannounced special guest at The Grove screening of The Back-Up Plan in Los Angeles.

Devotees shrieked and screamed when the star stepped up to introduce the new movie, thanking the cinema goers for filling the seats.

The Back-Up Plan is released in America on Friday.

Lopez Bans Anthony From Watching Sex Scenes

Jennifer Lopez has banned husband Skeletor Marc Anthony from watching her sex scenes in new movie The Back-up Plan – because she doesn’t want him to see her seduce another man.

The singer/actress stars alongside Alex O’Loughlin as a single woman who conceives twins through artificial insemination, and later falls in love.

The romantic comedy features a saucy scene, which sees Lopez strip and embrace O’Loughlin on a kitchen table.

But the star is refusing to let Anthony watch the steamy footage, because she doesn’t want to upset him.

She says,

“I didn’t want to torture the poor guy. He shouldn’t be watching when I’m seducing another man on a kitchen table. Personally I don’t like doing love scenes at all, because they make me feel uncomfortable.”

Seduce another man? It’s a movie isn’t it? Is she really seducing him if it’s in the script?

Gigli Named Worst Romantic Comedy Of All Time

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez movie Gigli has been named the Worst Romantic Comedy of all time in a new St. Valentine’s Day poll.

The film was slated by critics and shunned by cinema goers when it was released in 2003, causing it to flop badly – much like Affleck and Lopez’s real-life romance.

It was pulled from theaters after just three weeks, earned its stars Razzie Awards and now comes out top in Moviefone.com’s new list of of the worst.

Editors picked Gigli above Paris Hilton’s movie flop The Hottie & the Nottie; American Idol spin-off From Justin to Kelly and Ellen DeGeneres’ Mr Wrong.

Jennifer Lopez Headed To How I Met Your Mother

J.Lo will guest star in an upcoming episode of CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother,” the network announced on Wednesday.

The singer-actress will play Anita Appleby, a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to mold the perfect man through the power of denial.

But Anita appears to meet her match when she makes it her mission to “break” Barney (Neil Patrick Harris).

“We couldn’t be more excited about Jennifer Lopez joining us on ‘How I Met Your Mother,’” said series executive producer and co-creator Carter Bays. “We’re looking forward to a week of revealing outfits and sexy dance moves the likes of which this show hasn’t seen since Regis Philbin guest starred.”

The episode is scheduled to air in March.

Jennifer Lopez Bruised From Fall On Stage

Jennifer Lopez may not have bruised her ego last month when she fell during her performance at the American Music Awards, but the singer did hurt her famous backside.

“I have a bruised bone,” she told Ellen DeGeneres for an episode of the talk show to air Thursday. “What happened was one of the dancers’ backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything. We never bargained for that because they always had T-shirts on in rehearsal.

“So they were barebacked, didn’t have shirts on for the performance, and when I stepped on their backs my feet got wet. So when I landed, it just slipped from under me.”

Didn’t she originally say the fall was part of the choreography?

Lopez, 40, who took the mini-fall while performing her new single, “Louboutins,” credits adrenaline for bringing her to her feet so quickly.

“That’s kind of what I felt the rest of the performance: Did I fall? It happened she fast,” she said. “I was up and all I could think was, I have to get to the next beat. I have to do this dance solo right now. I had no time to think about it.”

The singer/actress is regular tabloid fodder thanks to her high-profile romances with rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and actor Ben Affleck, and subsequent marriage to salsa singer Marc Anthony.

But while most celebrities prefer not to pay attention to what’s reported in the pages of the weekly magazines, Lopez admits she’s a regular reader of the gossip publications, although she refuses to read too much into the tabloid rumours.

She says, “Yes I do (read the tabloids). And anybody who says they don’t is a liar!

“Not all of it (is true), but where there’s smoke there’s fire!”
