Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato’s Surprise Romantic Duet at Camp Rock 2 Premiere

The movie was enough of a treat, but the lucky Jonas Brothers fans who attended the Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premiere in New York Wednesday got a whole lot more than that.

Following the screening at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato emerged for a surprise performance of the romantic duet “Wouldn’t Change a Thing,” from the movie’s soundtrack, with Joe’s brothers Kevin and Nick playing backup.

The impromptu concert was a hit, judging by the number of girls in the audience shrieking at the top of their lungs.

Earlier in the event, on the red carpet, Lovato talked about how it’s been working with Joe Jonas since their breakup in May.

“We’ve obviously had our ups and downs, but no matter what, we’ll be best friends for a long time,”

she told PEOPLE.

Lovato, who turns 18 on Friday, also expressed her gratitude to Joe, 21, for recently threatening legal action against a blogger who posted a story with alleged falsehoods about their relationship.

“All three of them will defend me, because they’re my brothers, they have my back,” Lovato said. “And I’ll defend them any day, too.”

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam will premiere on the Disney Chanel on Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. ET and air the following three nights at the same time.

Selena Gomez Slams Dating Rumors

Disney star Selena Gomez has slammed reports she’s already moved on from Nick Jonas – insisting she’s still “single”.

The 17 year old split from the Jonas Brothers star in March because of their busy work schedules.

Gomez has since been romantically linked to Allstar Weekend bassist Cameron Quiseng and has previously faced rumors she’s dating Taylor Lautner.

But the singer/actress has now spoken out to refute the reports.

She says,

“I’m single. When I’m linked with guys it’s like: ‘Oh, they’re my friend. That’s awkward!’”

Demi Denies Joe Jonas Had Daddy Do The Deed

Yesterday reports serviced that Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato had split which wasn’t the best part, it was the fact that Joe Jonas supposedly had his dad call Demi and do the deed.

Now if you recall, Taylor Swift has long maintained that when she and Joe split he did so through a 10 second phone call.

Lovato used her Twitter account comment on the reports.

“There are so many crazy rumors flying around today,” she writes. “I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split, but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans. Just thought you guys should know this.”

Demi Lovato on Joe Jonas: “He’s My First Serious Relationship”

Demi Lovato isn’t holding back when it comes to publicly declaring her love for Joe Jonas.

“Every time that I’ve started to date someone, I’ve had private relationships, and there’s just so much stress trying to hide it and keep it quiet, that if you just come out and say. ‘Ok, we’re together,’ you don’t have to worry about keeping it such a secret,”

she gushed to Us Saturday at a press junket in Burbank, CA.

Lovato, 17, and Jonas, 20, met in 2007 on the set of the Disney channel series Camp Rock and denied dating rumors until a radio interview by Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in March.

“It was not only scary coming out to the public eye, but also the people who we work with, the people who are going to be on tour with us all summer, who are obviously nervous – because you never know what can happen,” Lovato tells Us. “But, I think ultimately, everyone who knows us knows that we’ll always be best friends, no matter what happens.”

The singer says she and Jonas began their relationship as best friends.

“We’ve always had an incredible bond, an incredible friendship,” she says. “He knows me better than I know myself, and I know him better than he knows himself.”

Sleepy Lovato Fine After First Crash

Sleep-deprived teen star Demi Lovato has assured fans she’s fine following a car crash in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old Disney star, who is dating pop hunk Joe Jonas, was involved in a collision early on Tuesday and took to her Twitter.com account to reveal all about the crash before the tabloids got hold of the story.

Lovato wrote, ”

Today hasn’t started off so great. I was so sleepy this morning, I got in my first little accident in my car.

“To everyone who asked, yes – I’m totally fine! Thank you! (it) was a huge bummer.”

Miley Cyrus to Mentor American Idol Contestants

Miley Cyrus will mentor the remaining 11 American Idol contestants this week.

The 17-year-old will appear on the show this Tuesday to help the wannabes prep for their performances on a Billboard No. 1 hits-themed show.

On Wednesday’s show, Cyrus will perform her tune “When I Look At You.”

She isn’t the only Disney star making a cameo that night.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato – who recently confirmed they’re dating — will sing their duet, “Make a Wave” before an Idol is sent home.

Jonas appeared as guest judge during Dallas auditions earlier this season.

Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato walked through a parking garage side by side yesterday in L.A., both looking pleased to be public with their relationship.

The hot young couple and a mutual friend were reportedly headed to a church service called Reality L.A.

PDA is definitely not Joe & Demi’s style; however, the 17-year-old Disney star recently spoke out on why she loves her man so much.

“He’s a complete gentleman, he takes me to the most amazing places… he’s perfect,”

Demi gushed.

Demi Lovato Dating Joe Jonas

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are the latest Disney stars to get together.

Lovato opened up to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush after he made multiple jabs at her love life.

Bush asked Lovato if she had ever dated a Jonas Brother, in which she replied, “Umm, maybe.”

Bush later asked if Lovato and Joe went from being a couple to being best friends, to which Lovato replied that the unraveling of the relationship was actually in the opposite direction. After further prompting, she revealed that they are indeed boyfriend-girlfriend. She added that he is an incredible person.

I don’t buy these Disney Romances, isn’t it ironic they go public days after finishing a video for their new duet together? It’s all marketing, and Disney is one of the best.

Could The Jonas Honeymoon Be Over?

They say the first year of marriage is the hardest — and newlyweds Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa are just starting to find that out!

The couple, who married in December, had a public spat while shopping at Gelson’s Market in West Hollywood on February 14. According to fellow shopper Brianna Evers, Kevin and Danielle, both 22, were arguing over their Valentine’s Day plans.

“She was complaining that they were grocery shopping on Valentine’s Day,”

Brianna reveals.

“It seemed like poor Kevin didn’t know what to do when Danielle was lecturing him. He looked kind of uncomfortable standing there,”

she adds.
