Perez Hilton Hammers Jonathan Knight

A couple days ago I happened on a Twitter exchange between blogger Perez Hilton and NKOTB’s Jonathan Knight.

Jonathan Knight was discussing Hurricane Danny when he said “He’s getting me wet right now!” Not one to miss a chance to try and out a fellow gay or lesbian, Hilton immediately tweeted back “@JonathanRKnight Of course he makes you wet, Mary! ha”. None too amused Knight tweeted “@perezhilton Your black eye disappeared…..now its your turn!” which is in reference to Hilton being beat up last June in Canada by a member of the Black Eyed Peas entourage. Knight obviously felt Hilton was taking a shot at him. Perez shot back with multiple tweets all unanswered by Knight:

@JonathanRKnight I don’t hate you, dude. I just find it sad/upsetting that you still live your public life as a closeted homosexual.
@JonathanRKnight Seriously, at this point in your life, what do you have to lose by coming out? NOTHING!
@JonathanRKnight If Jodie Foster was on here, I’d be telling her the same thing!
@JonathanRKnight Your fans will still love and support you even if/when you come out. KNOTB fans are great and very loyal.

Jonathan Knight has not tweeted since, obviously shell-shocked from the Perez barrage.

This seems to be one of many attacks by Perez Hilton on celebrities that he thinks are gay and should come out. If you wiki search “outing” there is a picture of Perez on the page. I’m not sure who appointed him the Out King but I find it hard to believe that gay friendly celebrities like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jewel and others condone this behavior. I think they are probably as appaled as others but simply befriend the blogger to keep their negative news items off his page and free from his attacks. If he wasn’t writing a powerful blog, these celebrities wouldn’t give him the time of day.

Shame on you Perez for forcing your hand. For this you receive my TOOL OF THE DAY Award!
