Britney Spears Preps For New Album

Producer/songwriter Danja revealed he’s in the works on a new Britney Spears’ album.

The pop princess took a break from singing after wrapping up her “Circus” Tour last year, but Danja told Rap-UP TV,

“[He and Spears] are getting things together. I’ve actually been doing tracks that I love, and I can’t wait to go into full production mode, but we’re in pre-production more than anything.”

The producer, who has previously worked with Justin Timberlake and Nelly Fertado, said fans can expect a “hard-hitting” album from Spears.

“I’m definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, up tempo, high energy. That’s what I think we need and that’s what I’m gonna shoot for.”

Kardashian’s Ex-husband Speaks Out

Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband has slammed the reality TV star as a “fame whore” just two weeks after leaked court documents revealed the couple’s marriage was full of abuse and jealousy.

Music producer Damon Thomas has disputed Kardashian’s claims in the divorce papers and now he has gone on the attack.

As part of an expose in the upcoming issue of America’s In Touch magazine, he insists his ex

“can’t write or sing or dance, so she does harmful things in order to validate herself in the media. That’s a fame whore to me. It’s just not cool at all.”

In the divorce papers, obtained by U.S. tabloid the Star last month, Kardashian alleged she suffered brutal beatings at the hands of her ex shortly after the pair eloped in 2000.

Describing one particularly bad incident before a meeting with her pal Justin Timberlake, she wrote,

“(We) were going skydiving with Justin Timberlake. Before we left our home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open. I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving.”

Kardashian also claims Thomas demanded to know her every move:

“If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house. He said that he wanted to know where I was at all times.”

But now Thomas, who divorced Kardashian in 2003, is telling his side of the story, insisting his ex is not all she seems.

He tells In Touch exclusively,

“Kim is obsessed with fame. She’s jealous and competitive with her sisters.”

And of her abuse claims, he insists,

“It’s just absolutely not true,” adding she accused him of abuse in order to get “a lot of money” out of him.

Thomas reveals he filed for divorce first – because Kardashian was allegedly cheating on him with “multiple guys”. Kardashian has denied the claim.

The music producer reveals he and Kardashian briefly reconciled, but he decided enough was enough when he saw photos of her on a date with Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Cris Judd.

He recalls,

“I saw my wife with another man, wearing the clothes that we had just bought… It was not something as a husband you ever wanted to see.”

Kim seems to be a real player! I wouldn’t date that big ass if you paid me. Just let me look!

Court Documents: ‘Kardashian Was Victim Of Domestic Abuse’

Kim Kardashian suffered brutal beatings at the hands of her ex-husband Damon Thomas, according to newly-published court documents.

The reality TV star eloped with music producer Thomas in 2000, but the marriage soon turned nasty and she found herself being held prisoner by her own husband.

In 2003 court documents, obtained by America’s Star magazine, Kardashian stated the relationship became abusive “a few months after (they) were married”.

Describing one particularly bad incident before a meeting with her pal Justin Timberlake, she wrote,

“(We) were going skydiving with Justin Timberlake. Before we left our home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open. I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving.”

Kardashian also claims Thomas demanded to know her every move:

“If Damon were not home, I was required to call him and ask permission to leave the house. He said that he wanted to know where I was at all times.”

The abuse allegedly continued well into their marriage, but Kardashian refused to call in the police because she was scared of what Thomas might do to her – and her fears were realized when she eventually plucked up the courage to walk out on him.

During one encounter after their split, she says,

“He threatened to kill me, my family members and the guys that I am dating.”

But that wasn’t the only threat against her life – her ex repeated the threat at least 12 times.

She adds,

“At this point, I am frightened by the stories that are repeated to me.”

Thomas, who has worked with artists like Lionel Richie, Pink and Tyrese, has firmly denied all accusations.

Kardashian and Thomas divorced in 2004.

Russell Brand Wants Young Pop Stars To Come With Drug Problems

Outrageous comedian/actor Russell Brand insists young pop stars should be banned from the studio if they haven’t experienced hard drugs.

The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star doesn’t share his fiancee Katy Perry’s love for Justin Bieber and other teen pop sensations and thinks all wannabes should have a rehab history before they embark on a career in music.

He tells Rolling Stone magazine,

“The top of the hit parade would look very different if teenyboppers were exposed to heroin. It would weed a lot of them out.

“I don’t think Justin Bieber could handle (late Pink Floyd star) Syd Barrett’s habit.

“You’re just not allowed into the studio until you first have had drug-addiction issues. It separates the men from the boys… Then, perhaps, we would be spared their awful music… It’s the law of natural selection.”

This just cements the fact that Brand is a complete douche bag! I hate the Bieber too but to wish a drug problem on anyone is moronic.

Ex-lovers Diaz & Timberlake To Team Up On The Big Screen

Former couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are teaming up on the big screen in new comedy Bad Teacher.

Diaz will play a junior high school teacher who sets out to steal a colleague’s boyfriend, played by the pop star and actor.

Comedienne Molly Shannon and Jason Segel will also star in the Jake Kasdan movie, which will start shooting in Los Angeles in April.

Timberlake and Diaz split at the beginning of 2007 after dating for almost four years.

The pop star has since found love with Valentine’s Day star Jessica Biel.

Sidibe Wants An Oscar Night Timberlake Treat

Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe wants to take Justin Timberlake to the Academy Awards – as her date.

The Precious star, who is a self-confessed ‘N Sync superfan, has revealed her big night at the Oscars would be perfect if Mr. SexyBack himself would agree to walk the red carpet with her.

But she wouldn’t be too disappointed if The Hurt Locker star Anthony Mackie called and asked her to take him instead.

She says,

“I want to make Justin Timberlake and Anthony Mackie fight it out for the honor of being my date. I’m just going to throw them in the ring and make them do it!”

But Timberlake would be her first choice, and she made a public plea to the singer/actor during a recent appearance on Canadian TV show eTalk.

She said,

“Justin, if you’re not doing anything on that night, maybe you could be my date or something. It’s fine. No pressure.”

If I was repping Timberlake I’d have him escort her. It would get major coverage and this is the Oscars.

Timberlake Wins Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Award

Justin Timberlake will soon have a new piece of hardware for his trophy case – a pudding pot.

The Grammy and Emmy award winner was named Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year on Tuesday.

Timberlake will receive the award at a roast set for Feb. 5.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe, said in a statement that the singer, songwriter, actor and producer was selected because he’s “one of pop culture’s most influential entertainers.”

His album, “Justified,” produced four No. 1 singles, making him the first artist in Nielsen Top 40 history with four No. 1 hits from one album. He has also appeared on television and in movies, including “Alpha Dog.”

Actress Anne Hathaway was named Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year earlier this month.

Glee Star Morrison Lands Record Deal

Glee star Matthew Morrison has something to sing about – the TV actor has landed his own record deal.

Morrison broadcast his vocal talents as glee club mentor Will Schuester on the hit U.S. series, which has already earned him a Golden Globe nomination for best actor.

Now he’s on the fast track to making his recording debut, after signing a deal with Mercury Records to put out his first album this autumn.

And the 31 year old is looking to his music idols Justin Timberlake and Michael Buble for inspiration.

Describing plans for the record, Morrison calls his sound “Timberlake meets Michael Buble… me and a big orchestra, but also with beats”.

Hirsch Climbing Kilimanjaro With Timberlake

Actor Emile Hirsch will embark on a week-long trek up Mount Kilimanjaro after agreeing to join Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel on the climb to raise awareness about the worldwide water crisis.

The Into the Wild star will don his climbing gear on Thursday to scale the 19,341-foot (5,895-metre) African peak to fund raise and highlight the need for clean drinking water in less economically developed countries.

Hirsch is looking forward to tackling the climb, branding it “an epic adventure with an educational process on the global water crisis”, and he’s determined to reach the mountain’s highest point.

He adds, “Put this on the books: I’m making it to the top.”
