Ex-lovers Diaz & Timberlake To Team Up On The Big Screen

Former couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are teaming up on the big screen in new comedy Bad Teacher.

Diaz will play a junior high school teacher who sets out to steal a colleague’s boyfriend, played by the pop star and actor.

Comedienne Molly Shannon and Jason Segel will also star in the Jake Kasdan movie, which will start shooting in Los Angeles in April.

Timberlake and Diaz split at the beginning of 2007 after dating for almost four years.

The pop star has since found love with Valentine’s Day star Jessica Biel.

Sidibe Wants An Oscar Night Timberlake Treat

Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe wants to take Justin Timberlake to the Academy Awards – as her date.

The Precious star, who is a self-confessed ‘N Sync superfan, has revealed her big night at the Oscars would be perfect if Mr. SexyBack himself would agree to walk the red carpet with her.

But she wouldn’t be too disappointed if The Hurt Locker star Anthony Mackie called and asked her to take him instead.

She says,

“I want to make Justin Timberlake and Anthony Mackie fight it out for the honor of being my date. I’m just going to throw them in the ring and make them do it!”

But Timberlake would be her first choice, and she made a public plea to the singer/actor during a recent appearance on Canadian TV show eTalk.

She said,

“Justin, if you’re not doing anything on that night, maybe you could be my date or something. It’s fine. No pressure.”

If I was repping Timberlake I’d have him escort her. It would get major coverage and this is the Oscars.

Timberlake Wins Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Award

Justin Timberlake will soon have a new piece of hardware for his trophy case – a pudding pot.

The Grammy and Emmy award winner was named Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Man of the Year on Tuesday.

Timberlake will receive the award at a roast set for Feb. 5.

Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the nation’s oldest undergraduate drama troupe, said in a statement that the singer, songwriter, actor and producer was selected because he’s “one of pop culture’s most influential entertainers.”

His album, “Justified,” produced four No. 1 singles, making him the first artist in Nielsen Top 40 history with four No. 1 hits from one album. He has also appeared on television and in movies, including “Alpha Dog.”

Actress Anne Hathaway was named Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year earlier this month.

Glee Star Morrison Lands Record Deal

Glee star Matthew Morrison has something to sing about – the TV actor has landed his own record deal.

Morrison broadcast his vocal talents as glee club mentor Will Schuester on the hit U.S. series, which has already earned him a Golden Globe nomination for best actor.

Now he’s on the fast track to making his recording debut, after signing a deal with Mercury Records to put out his first album this autumn.

And the 31 year old is looking to his music idols Justin Timberlake and Michael Buble for inspiration.

Describing plans for the record, Morrison calls his sound “Timberlake meets Michael Buble… me and a big orchestra, but also with beats”.

Hirsch Climbing Kilimanjaro With Timberlake

Actor Emile Hirsch will embark on a week-long trek up Mount Kilimanjaro after agreeing to join Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel on the climb to raise awareness about the worldwide water crisis.

The Into the Wild star will don his climbing gear on Thursday to scale the 19,341-foot (5,895-metre) African peak to fund raise and highlight the need for clean drinking water in less economically developed countries.

Hirsch is looking forward to tackling the climb, branding it “an epic adventure with an educational process on the global water crisis”, and he’s determined to reach the mountain’s highest point.

He adds, “Put this on the books: I’m making it to the top.”

Nick Jonas Thinks He’s Bruce Springsteen

Check it out as Nick talks about modeling his new band after Bruce Springsteen.

Also laughable is how they emphasize that this is being called a SIDE PROJECT not a SOLO project. Come on? What’s the difference? If a member of a band steps out and makes a record he’s SOLO right?

A side project might be going to join a band like Jack White does, surely this is a solo project and surely Nick Jonas couldn’t carry Bruce Springsteens wet jock after a long 3+ hour set.

They are already trying to do damage control in preparation for the fall out when Nick leaves. If he has any success do you for one second he’s going to come back to Jonas Brothers? Would Justin go back to N’Sync?

To sum it all up, ask yourself why they would even be doing this little ’side project’? What purpose is it going to serve? This is simple the Disney machine spinning off the most successful Jonas ahead of the group crashing and burning. Wonder what Joe and Kevin will do with all their free time?

Jessica Biel Laughs At Timberlake Split Reports

Jessica Biel has a relaxed attitude towards the tabloid press, because she can’t help but laugh at the absurdity of fabricated reports about her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

The Illusionist star has been dating the pop singer since 2006, during which time the media has been saturated with rumors about their romance – and whether it’s come to an end.

Biel insists she’s heard all the stories – and she finds them funny.

She says,

“It’s definitely been weird and sort of bizarre to deal with. But you have to have a sense of humour about the whole thing. Honestly, I look at a magazine and they know more than I do.

“You do really have to just get into a place where you feel Zen (at peace) about it – take a deep breath and know that somebody is going to be taking your picture while you’re going to the laundry and picking up your dry cleaning.”

And in weeks we will get reports that they’ve split!

Timberlake Ordered To Court Over Obsessive Fan Case

Justin Timberlake has been ordered to court on Monday so he can permanently keep a woman accused of stalking him at a distance legally.

A judge in Los Angeles wants the pop star to personally testify against Karen McNeil, the woman he has accused of harassing him if he is to make a temporary restraining order permanent.

Timberlake’s aides have claimed McNeil has showed up at his property uninvited several times – but the singer has yet to submit a sworn declaration about his alleged obsessed fan, who insists she’s a long time friend of the star.

Unhappy with the judge’s decision to call Timberlake to court, the singer’s attorney filed legal papers on Friday to disqualify the judge.

Damn, is it me or does it seem there are more stalkers running around today then ever before?

Timberlake’s Grandmother Hints At Split

Rumours of a break-up between Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel refuse to go away – the pop star’s grandmother has reportedly confirmed the couple’s split.

Timberlake, who began dating the actress in 2006, was said to have called off their relationship in August but pictures emerged last month showing the two walking hand-in-hand in California.

But Sadie Bomar has apparently confirmed her grandson Timberlake has ended their romance after feeling pressure to marry Biel.

She is quoted in Britain’s Closer magazine as saying, “Jessica was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready. The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious.”

There ya have it. Who needs a publicists? Grandma will confirm reports of the split!
