Sienna Miller Is Latest Catwoman Wannabe

Sienna Miller has become the latest star to covet the role of comic book villain Catwoman – the British actress would “love” to play the feline femme fatale in a new Batman movie.

Movie bosses are currently making plans for the next installment in the superhero franchise, a follow-up to 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight.

And producers are rumored to be in talks to bring back Catwoman for the new film, the character played by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992’s Batman Returns and again by Halle Berry in a 2004 spin-off from the Caped Crusader movies.

Stars including Charlize Theron and Kate Beckinsale have already voiced their interest in taking on the role, and now Miller has become the latest actress to add her name to the list of Catwoman wannabes.

She says,

“Catwoman. I actually love Catwoman. I just think the idea of being half-cat and half-woman is a great kind of villain-esque persona. It’s the age-old thing of a femme fatale.”

This crazy bitch would probably make a great catwoman!

Beckinsale Found Sexy Title ‘Mortifying’

Kate Beckinsale was mortified after she was branded the Sexiest Woman Alive – and she hates admitting she’s the owner of the title.

The Underworld star was handed the honor by Esquire magazine earlier this year, knocking beautiful Halle Berry off the number one spot.

But the bashful Brit insists she has struggled to cope with the alluring name – and finds it hard when people quiz her over her new sexy status.

She says,

“It’s such a nice thing to happen and then immediately it’s mortifying.

“Somebody came up to me in the street and went ‘are you the sexiest woman alive?’ And I went ‘yes,’ and then I thought, ‘Errrggh I can’t say yes to that!’

“I should be shot on sight for that, it’s awful!”

Beckinsale Named Sexiest Woman Alive

The Underworld star, 36, takes the crown from Halle Berry, who was named last year’s top lady – but the feisty Brit insists her brothers won’t let the new title go to her head.

She says,

“This whole notion of being named Sexiest Woman Alive is going to earn me quite a beating. You can’t have that title with four brothers. I’ll get wedgies. Headlocks. Noogies (knuckles to the head).

“I’m feeling that I must earn this – I need to go out and become much better at pole dancing or something.”

Beckinsale’s Big Freeze

Kate Beckinsale made the most of the big freeze on the Canadian set of her new film WHITEOUT, even though the temperatures literally took her breath away.

The Brit was so unprepared for the frigid conditions in Manitoba and Winnipeg she was left voiceless for a day after sucking in the icy temperatures when she first ventured outside.

She says,

“There are so many possible ways to die there of being too cold – like if you’ve ever had an alcoholic drink and you breathe in a westerly direction, you’re gonna die! We all panicked.
“When we first went outside, all the men had beards full of ice, which I thought was make-up department tests – but it wasn’t; it was real.
“My hair froze to a point just from breathing on it. I thought, ‘I’m from England and I’ll be able to handle the cold,’ but I’ve never known anything like that. The first day, I wasn’t able to speak because my whole throat closed from that first breath.”

But Beckinsale found a great benefit to being in a place so cold:

“In cold weather they have great things inside to do, so I went to museums and children’s theatre places with my daughter, who was there for the whole thing. Outside they had a frozen park which was one of the greatest things I’d ever done.”

How can a hot broad get so cold? Wouldn’t happen on my watch.
