Lohan Confirms Ungaro Split

Lindsay Hohan has confirmed reports she has parted company with fashion house Emanuel Ungaro.

The Mean Girls star sparked rumors of a rift with the brand after she failed to show up at the Ungaro runway show at Paris Fashion Week in France on Monday, with owner Asim Abdullah explaining, “She’s not involved in this collection.”

When asked why she missed the display, Lohan – the company’s one-time artistic adviser – admitted she is no longer part of the Ungaro design team, telling Women’s Wear Daily, “I don’t work for them anymore.”

When pressed for further information, she added, “There’s legal things going on; I can’t really discuss it.”

Lohan’s debut collection with the brand in September was slated by fashion critics.

Mounir Moufarrige, who hired her to work for the design house, stepped down as company president in December.

Wow, another legal matter for Lohan. This family lives off lawsuits.

Lohan’s Dad Accused Of Tracking Ex-girlfriend

Lindsay Hohan’s father is allegedly facing a police investigation after his former fiancee accused him of fixing a tracking device to her car.

Michael Lohan and Erin Muller were together for two years before their relationship ended in 2009.

The volatile romance turned nasty after the split, with Muller granted a restraining order against Lohan after a series of violent fights between the pair.

Lohan was arrested for criminal contempt in January after allegedly violating the ban, and now he’s reportedly facing a police inquiry after Muller accused him of planting a tracking device on her car, according to TMZ.com.

Muller claims her father found the gadget while he was checking for an oil leak, and has reported the incident to police.

But Lohan tells the website his ex-lover is “full of c**p.”

Yes Michael whenever you get busted on something the other person is lying. Your a sick individual and need some serious help as does your daughter and ex-wife. I suggested you all go away for a long long time. Moron!

Lindsay’s Mom Is An Idiot Too!

Lindsay Lohan’s mum Dina has backed her daughter’s multi-million dollar legal battle over an ad which allegedly used the actress’ name and poked fun at her personal problems – branding the commercial “horrible” and “mean”.

The Mean Girls star is seeking $100 million in damages and compensation in connection with the promo for financial firm E-Trade, which depicts a baby girl called Lindsay as a boyfriend stealer and a “milkaholic”.

And now Dina Lohan has defended her daughter’s decision to sue, insisting the advert reduced the actress to tears during the Super Bowl celebrations.

Dina claims the 23 year old called her after the Super Bowl “extremely upset”, telling The New York Post,

“She said, ‘Mommy, help me. This is wrong. How can they do this?’”

Lohan’s mother is adamant the commercial was aimed at her daughter – insisting the name Lindsay has as much recognition as other single-word monikers, used by stars such as Madonna and Cher.

She adds,

“They’re little babies doing this, mocking another child who’s just trying to survive Hollywood, basically. I’m just basically glad I took a stand. I’m not going to let them do this to us anymore. Everyone knows Lindsay, like Cher or Madonna.”

Isn’t it ironic that both Lindsay and her mother realize how fucked up she is to even think the commercial was pointed to her. Even if the writer’s did have Lindsay in mind this lawsuit still isn’t going to fly.

Lindsay Lohan Suing For $100 Million Over Baby Advert

Lindsay Hohan has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit over the advertisement above which allegedly used her name and parodied her life for profit.

The Mean Girls actress is seeking $100 million in damages and compensation over the commercial for financial firm E-Trade, which depicts a baby girl called Lindsay as a boyfriend stealer and a “milkaholic”, reports the New York Post.

The commercial shows a baby boy playing the stock market and apologizing to his girlfriend for not calling her the night before.

The baby girl then gets suspicious about a rival female baby, referring to her as “that milkaholic Lindsay”.

Lohan filed a lawsuit on Monday at Nassau County Supreme Court over the advert, which debuted on U.S. TV during the Super Bowl last month.

The actress’ lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, claims Lohan’s first name is just as recognizable as other single-word monikers, used by stars such as Madonna and Cher.

Ovadia says,

“Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit. They used the name Lindsay. They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”

The lawyer alleges company bosses used Lohan’s “name and characterization” without paying her or asking for her approval, thus violating her rights. Ovadia also insists the company has earned large profits from the promo because it would have been seen by millions of TV viewers watching the Super Bowl.

But chiefs at the advertising firm which created the commercial for E-Trade are dismissing the claims, insisting they chose the name Lindsay at random.

Chris Brown, a spokesperson for the Grey Group, says they “just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team.”

Lohan is seeking $50 million in exemplary damages, as well as $50 million in compensation.

Lindsay Lohan’s Fashion Adventure Ends After One Show

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan’s design career has ended after a single collection for Parisian label Emanuel Ungaro, leaving the fashion world divided over whether her work was a disaster or a much-needed bit of fun.

Ungaro designer Estrella Archs, who worked with Lohan on last year’s widely panned show of buttock-revealing dresses and strippers’ nipple stickers, showed her second Ungaro collection on Monday. She said Lohan had no hand in it.

“You have up and downs and you learn a lot, more from the downs than from the ups,”

Archs told reporters backstage when asked about the dire reviews of last year’s show with Lohan, who acted as artistic adviser.

“I feel that I have to work, work, work and work … I’ve been doing this for a long time, with different people and different houses, and I think this is the best medicine,”

said Archs, looking close to tears.

Their joint collection has just hit the shops, but Lohan has gone back to buying rather than producing fashion — she was seen at Roberto Cavalli in Milan, and was invited to Dior in Paris on Friday, though she came late and missed the show.

Archs, with no entertainment career to fall back on, has stuck with Ungaro, turning out an autumn/winter collection of jewel-colored dresses, bustier tops and leopard print trousers.

She can take heart at the fact that retailers have, on the whole, been less vitriolic than critics.

Online boutique net-a-porter.com dropped Ungaro after Lohan’s debut, but others have been positive.

“I loved the little short silk dresses that Lindsay and Estrella designed, there were great colors, it was fun, short, sexy,” Stephanie Solomon, fashion director at Bloomingdale’s, told Reuters at the Ungaro show.

“I’ve been doing this long enough to understand it’s not necessarily the press reaction. Ultimately, it’s the customers’ reaction,” said Solomon, who ordered from Lohan’s collection.

She predicted that Lohan’s style would attract a younger crowd — which was the reason why Ungaro originally hired the actress who is also a model and singer.

Mounir Moufarrige, chief executive at the time, had hoped the star of “Mean Girls” would revive the brand. Moufarrige resigned in December, weeks after Lohan’s show.

The fashion house now appears to be uncertain over whether it should pretend the Lohan collection never happened, or be proud of its Hollywood connection.

A week before the show, Ungaro’s press department firmly said that the actress was still working as artistic adviser. At the show, Archs said just as firmly that Lohan was not involved.

Either way, the clothes were slightly more subtle this time around. A short black polka dot dress was accessorized with grass green shoes, bag and belt, while a vibrant purple-pink dress was matched with red shoes.

“I don’t know if that makes any difference in the world,” Bloomingdale’s Solomon said, referring to Lohan’s departure. “It all comes down to the clothes.”

Lindsay Hohan’s father was taken into hospital after suffering from chest pains while preparing for a celebrity boxing match, according to a U.S. report.

Michael Lohan was set to fight Todd Poulton at the Celebrity Boxing Federation in Sturbridge, Massachusetts on Saturday when he was reportedly taken ill.

He was taken into hospital to be checked over after feeling pains in his chest, according to TMZ.com. The boxing match was canceled.

Lohan’s girlfriend Kate Major tells the website he will be checked out by doctors again in New York and has made plans to see a cardiologist later this week

The Mean Girls actress is piecing together her life story for the new book, documenting her rise to fame as well as her chaotic personal life.

She tells Britain’s Ok! magazine,

“I write a lot and it’s very therapeutic for me because then I can see what’s happening on paper. I’ve started writing a book. It’s going to take a while, all my life experiences. I started writing it a year ago. There’s a lot to put down, you know?”
