Matt Damon’s Jason Bourne character is heading back to the big screen – without Matt Damon.

Universal Pictures movie bosses are reportedly moving forward with plans for a fourth installment to the Bourne franchise, even though Damon has made it clear he’ll only return as the on-the-run hitman if director Paul Greengrass, who made the last two films, signs up to make the movie.

Tony Gilroy, who penned the screenplays to all three Bourne films, has agreed to work on a fourth film, tentatively titled The Bourne Legacy, according to Daily Variety.

Matt Damon and Wife Expecting Again!

Actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana are looking forward to adding a new member to their growing family.

Damon, 39, and Luciana, 34, are parents to Isabella, 3, and Gia, 21 months. Luciana has a daughter, Alexia, 11, from a previous marriage.

The kids have helped the actor maintain an even keel as a Hollywood movie star. ”

They kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly,”

he told Parade magazine in 2005.

“There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”

Guess we know who’s “Fucking Matt Damon!”

Damon Feels ‘Let Down’ By Obama

Matt Damon is “disappointed” by Barack Obama’s performance as U.S. President so far – insisting the public is feeling “let down”.

The Bourne Supremacy actor pledged his allegiance to Obama’s campaign when he ran for the White House in 2008, and was ecstatic when the Democrat became the first mixed race president of the U.S. in January last year.

But Damon feels Obama has not lived up to expectations, and is wary of the leader’s controversial healthcare plan, which aims to give poor Americans free medical treatment.

Damon tells the New York Daily News,

“Politics is compromise. I’m disappointed in the healthcare plan and in the troop build-up in Afghanistan.

“Everyone feels a little let down because, on some level, people expected all their problems to go away. But real change comes from everyday people. You can’t wait for a leader.”

If Barack starts losing Hollywood he has some real problems!

Downey, Jr. & Efron Linked To Warner Bros. Deals

Robert Downey, Jr. and Zac Efron are the latest stars connected to producing deals with movie studio Warner Bros.

The Iron Man actor and his wife, producer Susan Downey, are reportedly in negotiations to sign a first-look deal with the film giant, following speculation Warner Bros. bosses are also in talks with best pals Ben Affleck and Matt Damon for a similar contract.

High School Musical idol Zac Efron has been confirmed as signing a two-year deal with Warner Bros., which will see the star’s manager act as executive producer on all his projects with the studio.

Sounds to me like Warner’s is giving away the store.

Clooney Offers To Train Damon For Sexiest Man Title

George Clooney wants to “train” Matt Damon in a bid to gain him a second Sexiest Man Alive title, after branding the actor’s first win a “fluke.”

Clooney is one of only four Hollywood hunks to be twice-crowned People magazine’s most handsome man in the publication’s annual sexy list, alongside Brad Pitt, Richard Gere and Johnny Depp.

And the star wants to get his Ocean’s 11 co-star Damon, who took the title in 2007, back into shape so he can have another shot at the prestigious honor – insisting his pal doesn’t stand a chance since he gained 30 pounds for his movie The Informant! last year.

He jokes,

“Here’s the thing. Matt Damon is very competitive with both Brad Pitt and myself. Brad and me are both two time Sexiest Men Alive. Matt’s only won it one time and I sort of consider it a bit of fluke.

“Having seen him recently putting on all that weight for The Informant!, well, he’s got a lot of work to do if he wants to get back. I’m going to train him and work with him because he’s going to need to run a strong campaign this year.”

Blunt In Agony From Dance Training

Emily Blunt is in constant pain on the set of her latest movie The Adjustment Bureau – because intense dance training has left her in agony.

The British actress plays a ballet dancer in the picture, which she’s currently shooting in New York with Matt Damon.

Blunt is being put through her paces by a professional – and she admits the classes are crippling.

She says,

“Every day I’m in dance boot camp. It’s a wonderful idea to have the girl be a dancer, but it’s very high maintenance.

“I’m really loving the challenge. I’m training with this amazing ballet company, and it’s been a real awakening for me when it comes to fitness. Everything hurts all the time.”

Damon’s Sister Auditioned To Play His Lover, By Mistake

Matt Damon’s stepsister was stunned when she landed an audition for the Hollywood star’s new movie – and was told she’d be playing his lover.

Model-turned-actress Sarah Bradford, 22, grew up with the Oscar winner, after her mother and his father married.

She insists she’s never used Damon to help her progress in Hollywood, and earned an audition for a role in The Adjustment Bureau through her own hard work.

But she was shocked when casting bosses told her she would have to jump into bed with her sibling.

Bradford tells New York magazine,

“Five months ago I went in for a reading for this movie Matt’s in, The Adjustment Bureau. It’s in production right now in New York.

“It was for a character called Elise – she is basically queen bee at this ballet academy – and all of a sudden they say, ‘Are you aware that if you get this role, you’ll be playing Matt’s love, having a love affair with your brother.’

“My jaw dropped.”

Fortunately the sordid story ended on a positive note for the young actress:

“I just read for a more appropriate role in the movie, Elise’s friend, and I got the part. It’s very exciting. What parents wouldn’t want their children to work together.”

Ellen Barkin’s Cougar Moment

ELLEN Barkin seemed to have a flashback when she met Matt Damon as she was heading home the other day on West 12th Street, where Damon was filming a scene for “The Adjustment Bureau,” based on a Philip K. Dick story.

Barkin played a cougar who tried to seduce Damon in “Ocean’s Thirteen.” After a brief chat on the street, Barkin, in a Mae West moment, rubbed Damon’s head, and said, “Come on over and see me after you finish,” nodding to the building where she lives. Damon laughed and went back to work.
