Liam Hemsworth To Star In ‘Arabian Nights’

Liam Hemsworth, who co-stars in Disney’s upcoming Miley Cyrus drama “The Last Song,” is jumping into action-movie territory with “Arabian Nights.”

The actor is in negotiations to star in Inferno Entertainment’s 3D adventure directed by Chuck Russell.

Inferno’s Bill Johnson is producing with Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray of Mayhem Pictures. ROAR also is producing.

Written by Russell and Barry P. Ambrose, the period epic centers on a young commander (Hemsworth) who, after his king is murdered in a coup, joins forces with Sinbad and Aladdin to rescue Queen Scheherazade.

An end-of-summer shoot is being eyed.

Hemsworth, repped by ROAR, is a relative unknown who apart from the buzz he is generating from “Song” appeared in last year’s “Knowing.”

The deal also puts him in territory being tread by brother Chris Hemsworth, who is in production as the title character in Marvel’s superhero action fantasy “Thor.”

Inferno is planning a year-end shoot for “The Grey,” an action project starring Bradley Cooper and directed by Joe Carnahan. The company also is coming off the Sundance premiere of comedy “The Kids Are All Right” and the Berlin premiere of thriller “The Experiment.”

Miley Cyrus Confirms She’s Dating Liam Hemsworth

In the NO SHIT SHERLOCK department Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she and her Last Song costar Liam Hemsworth are an item.

Asked on E!’s pre-Oscar special if she and the Aussie actor are dating, she said, “Yes.”

Is she in love?

“Maybe,” a coy Miley, 17, replied.

They didn’t make their red carpet debut at the Oscars, Instead, Miley was accompanied by her mother, Tish, who showed off angel wing tattoos on her back.

When Ryan Seacrest joked that Tish is a bad influence, Miley chimed in: “She has nice choices in tattoos.”

As for her frock, Miley said she wanted to look “Marilyn Monroe-esque.”

So she went with a custom champagne colored silk and tulle strapless bustier bodice gown by Jenny Packham.

I’m still sayin’ this relationship is ALL FOR PUBLICITY for their new movie.

Miley Cyrus promotes her forthcoming flick, The Last Song (in theaters, March 31) in hew new music video.

Not sure what I’m hearing, massive delay on the vocal or auto tune or perhaps a mix of both.

I don’t know about anyone else but I’m getting tired of this auto tune shit. I do like the song however and I’ve always been a Miley fan.

Is this the movie that will launch Miley into a huge acting career? I had a chance to see about 20 minutes of the movie and it was good, real good and I’m no movie critic or sappy Nicholas Sparks fan.

We Are The World 25 – What A Mess

Where do I begin?

I guess I’ll sum it up first. You should never mess with a classic, never, it will not measure up to the original. Since I have so many problems with this video I’ll list them in numerical order to keep it easy to follow.

1. The first voice and image is that of a 15 year old semi heartthrob that no one will know in a year or two? – Justin Bieber

2. Using Michael Jackson’s image and voice, okay I guess but then throwing his sister Janet in to sing with him is just crap!

3. Miley Cyrus? OK I get it she’s popular.

4. Enrique Iglesias - Is there a worst singer on the planet that makes a living singing? This dude doesn’t even sing, he talks.

5. Michael Jackson once was ok, over and over is ridiculous!

6. Lil’ Wayne by far the worst on so many fronts. First off he doesn’t sing. So they auto tune him to death. Now there is quality. Kinda like steroids in sports. It’s cheating. Secondly, this was done a day before he was supposed to report to prison to serve a jail term. Classy!

7. Akon – Auto Tune again!

8. T-Pain – Auto Tune

9. Jamie Foxx doing Ray Charles was the most disrespectful thing I’ve seen! Even he was laughing when done.

10. The whole Rap segment. What what? Why didn’t the rappers get together and do their own version much like Gloria Estefan is with the Latin community?

Cyrus’ Sister Not Designing Kiddie Lingerie Line

Bosses for a top kids clothing line have dismissed reports suggesting Miley Cyrus’ little sister is designing an inappropriate lingerie line for them.

Reports claimed 10-year-old actress Noah Cyrus was creating an underwear line for chain Ooh! La, La! Couture, but the company’s marketing men insist the story is not even close to the truth.

A says that Cyrus isn’t designing anything for them – and they’d never try to sell lingerie to kids.

She says,

“We’ve been a reputable, upscale children’s clothing brand since 2004. (Everything we sell is) age-appropriate.

“Ooh! La, La! Couture does not make or promote a lingerie line and never will… We only make clothes that are right for little girls and their families, and can be worn to birthday parties, ballet classes or playdates.”

Bosses are convinced the mix up came about because Cyrus’ best friend, Disney actress Emily Grace Reaves, has created a line for them – but “Noah Cyrus is in no way involved.”

Miley Cyrus Donates Grammy Dress to Haiti Relief

Last month’s devastating earthquake in Haiti has brought together Miley Cyrus and celebrity pals for an online auction to aid in Haiti relief.

“Ever since the earthquake, I’ve been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti – and I wanted to do more,”

the Disney star told People magazine.

Cyrus, 17, has recruited a group of star-studded celebs to help with donations for the auction. Nicole Richie donated jewelry from her House of Harlow line and Britney Spears will be auctioning off her custom silver Versace dress that she wore during the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Everyone has been so generous,” Cyrus told People.

“My mom and I started calling and texting all of our friends to see if they’d like to be a part of the auction. Demi Lovato was one of the first to respond. Hugh Jackman was also excited to donate something.”

Demi Moore & Miley Cyrus To Play Mother And Daughter?

Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus are in talks to play mother and daughter on the big screen in a remake of 2009 French hit L.O.L. Laughing Out Loud.

The two actresses are the front runners to recreate roles played by Sophie Marceau and Christa Theret in the Lisa Azuelos film.

Azuelos will write and direct the Hollywood re-do, according to Daily Variety.

The film follows the exploits of a teenager and her divorced mum as they attempt to get on with their lives after break-ups.
