Katherine Heigl Contemplating Nashville Move For Kelley

Actress Katherine Heigl is considering joining Nicole Kidman in Nashville, Tennessee to help her husband Josh Kelley launch a career as a country singer.

She’s looking to scale back her work schedule after becoming a mum to adopted daughter Naleigh, and is contemplating a new life in Tennessee so pop/rock star Kelley can focus on re-branding himself as a country music artist.

Heigl admits she has her worries about moving states but insists it’s all part of becoming a mature adult.

She says,

“It’s time to reevaluate and grow up.

“I hope by my mid-30s, I get to the point where I don’t doubt myself. I’m going to make mistakes and say stupid things, but I won’t have to sit in a room in the dark and wonder, ‘Am I a bad person?’ It will be, ‘Ok Katie, enough with the drama.’”

Kelley, whose brother Charles is one third of hit country band Lady Antebellum, signed a new record deal with Universal Music Nashville in November.

Paltrow Fell In Love With Nashville During Film Shoot

Gwyneth Paltrow has become an unofficial ambassador for country music capital Nashville, Tennessee – even though she doesn’t live there.

The actress recently spent time in the city shooting new movie Love Don’t Let Me Down with Tim McGraw and she can now understand why Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift, McGraw and Faith Hill and other top stars call the place home.

She has become the latest celebrity to fall for the charm of the city – and she’s cooing about it on her Goop.com website.

She writes,

“I just spent a few months living and working in Nashville, Tennessee which was an incredible experience. As I’m apt to do, I researched, ate, drank, tried, and asked my way around the city ’til I found the best spots it has to offer.

“Never have I met such warm people, heard such good music, eaten so much fried chicken… I could go on and on.

“It’s pretty easy to get to if you live in the good ol’ Us of A as it’s kind of smack dab in the middle (well, not really, but almost) and is so worth a trip. It’s pretty damn great.”

Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay star Chris Martin, then lists the bars, restaurants and cafes she visited while she was in Nashville.

Selena Gomez Steps In For Kidman In Monte Carlo

Teen sensation Selena Gomez has stepped in for Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman in upcoming movie Monte Carlo, after producers decided to give the script a more youthful spin.

The 17-year-old Disney actress has been named the new star of the comedy, based on the book Headhunters by Jules Bass.

Kidman, 42, was set to star in the film in 2005, which originally followed the novel’s plot more closely and sent four New Jersey women to Monaco, where they posed as heiresses.

According to trade paper Daily Variety, producers have updated the script to instead focus on a group of college and high school girls traveling from Paris, France.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is also reportedly in talks to join the cast

The Mission: Impossible star, who stands at 5 foot 7 inches, has wooed taller women including Nicole Kidman and current partner Katie Holmes, with his Oscar-winning ex-wife famously stating the best thing about divorcing the star was being able to wear high-heeled shoes again.

But despite his diminutive stature, Cruise is still towering over the competition, sitting atop a poll to find the most fanciable short man, according to market research company www.OnePoll.com.

Kidman Launches Anti-Abuse Center

Actress Nicole Kidman continued her crusade against domestic violence by speaking at the opening of a new anti-abuse center on Friday.

The star, who is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Fund for Women, was on hand at the launch of the Family Violence Prevention Fund’s New International Center in San Francisco, California.

The center will give assistance to women who have suffered sexual or physical abuse.

Kidman says,

“There is no doubt that ending violence against women remains an urgent issue and belongs on centre stage. Solutions require action and investment, and strong partnerships like the one we’re announcing today between Unifem and Family Violence Prevention Fund…

“We’ve been able to approach governments around the world and we’ve been able to say, ‘We want you to acknowledge your laws, change your laws and to speak out strongly.’”

The star appeared before lawmakers at the U.S. Congress in October to talk about violence against woman across the world, admitting that Hollywood “probably” played a role in contributing to acts of aggression.

Nicole Kidman was left red-faced at the premiere of her new film Nine in New York City – after arriving on the red carpet with white powder smudged all over her skin.

The Hollywood actress turned out in her finery on Tuesday night to promote the release of the new movie musical.

But the star hit headlines for all the wrong reasons at the event after she failed to blend her face powder properly – and was left standing in front of the world’s cameras with ghostly white marks on her nose and under her eyes. …

Damn, don’t tell me Kidman is hitting the coke straw? Tell me how she made it from a hotel to the red carpet with an entire entourage and nobody saw the massive amount of white powder on her face? Strange.

Kidman Glad To Be Out Of Sydney

Nicole Kidman refuses to move back to Sydney, Australia from the U.S. – because the paparazzi constantly hound the actress in her native country.

The star sold her home in the city in May for around $10.5 million as she lives full time in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband Keith Urban and their daughter Sunday Rose.

And Kidman is adamant she made the right decision – because the press intrusion in Sydney was ruining their day-to-day life.

She says, “It (media attention) makes certain cities impossible to live in. Like Sydney, it makes it impossible for us to live there.

“We certainly don’t get that treatment in Tennessee. But it goes with the territory. It’s just, we have to be careful, just to maintain some sort of semblance of a normal life for our child.”

Well I don’t think paps are as bad in Oz as they are in Hollywood, however with more and more stars moving to Tennessee the pap action is getting pretty heavy down there too.

Give up acting and become a waitress, after the novelty wears off the paps won’t give a shit about you. In other words. QUIT YOUR WHINING!

What kind of moronic statement is that?

The Oscar-winning actress better known for meaty roles than actual curves suddenly filled out after she began breastfeeding her baby daughter, Sunday Rose, last summer.

“They’re not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size. I loved it!”. “I felt very Woman. When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling.”

Wonder if that titty feeding also made her lips grow out too?
