Sarah Jessica Parker is reportedly looking to move house – she has been spotted viewing a massive $24 million townhouse in New York.

The Sex and the City star, who already owns several properties in the city, recently admitted her current home in Manhattan is “bursting at the seams”, but vowed never to relocate to “the suburbs” even though there would be more space for herself, her husband Matthew Broderick and their three children.

Parker has now sparked rumors the family is preparing to move to a larger home in Manhattan after she was seen checking out a huge nine-bedroom house in the trendy West Village.

The $24.9 million property also has nine bathrooms, 10 wood-burning fireplaces and is situated on the same block where Jimi Hendrix once lived.

Lord, 24 million for a home, when is enough enough?

Sarah Jessica Parker Considers More Kids

Sarah Jessica Parker is open to expanding her family with Matthew Broderick – despite the criticism they received for using a surrogate to have twins.

The Sex and the City star is mum to seven-year-old son James Wilkie, but she turned to a surrogate mother after struggling to conceive another child.

The couple welcomed twin daughters Marion and Tabitha last summer and Parker felt she was unfairly judged for using a non-traditional method to expand her family – but she refuses to let her critics keep her from considering more kids.

She tells Britain’s Closer magazine,

“I don’t know if we’re finished having children. I know that we’re lucky that we could afford that particular option, but we encouraged each other to explore all options. I suppose the only courage it takes is to not listen to people who find it objectionable. And there are those.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Lands Designer Role?

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker is reportedly in talks for a top job in the fashion industry – as the creative director for American design house Halston Heritage.

The actress reached fashion icon status after starring in hit U.S. TV series Sex & the City playing shoe-loving Carrie Bradshaw, and went on to create the affordable apparel line Bitten for Steve & Barry in 2007.

The line was discontinued in 2008.

Now Parker is negotiating a high-ranking role with Halston’s newest collection, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The company has yet to release details about the actress’ new position.

Parker, Whitaker And Norton For New Obama Committee

U.S. President Barack Obama is sexing up his administration – he has named Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker as a member of his new Arts Committee.

Parker, Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker and Edward Norton are among the industry big names handpicked by the American leader to head the Committee on Arts and the Humanities, to help boost communities through entertainment and culture.

First Lady Michelle Obama will act as the Committee’s chairwoman, with co-chair George Stevens Jr. – a producer who has overseen the televised Kennedy Center Honors since 1990.

Patricia Field Denies Catfight Rumors On Sex Set

Despite reports that Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall are feuding on the set of Sex and the City 2, the film’s costume designer Patricia Fields insists there is no bad blood between the stars.

“All this silly talk about the girls! They are getting along great,” Patricia told In Touch at the 2009 Angel Ball in New York on October 20.

The fashion icon, who developed the signature style on the former HBO series and continued to work on the feature films based on the show, claims the leading ladies, including Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, are grateful to be walking in their characters’ sexy shoes. “The girls struck it rich with Sex and the City and they know it. They are happy for it, individually and as a group. They know they hit gold,” Patricia added. The sequel will hit the big screen in May 2010.

Parker: ‘Press Drive Me Crazy’

Sarah Jessica Parker finds it hard to film scenes for the SEX AND THE CITY sequel – because paparazzi are constantly swarming the set.

The actress is currently in New York working on the second installment of the hit movie, which is due to hit screens next year.

Parker and her co-stars – Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis – are filming on the streets of the Big Apple and are constantly mobbed by eager fans and pesky snappers, eager to get shots of the clan.

But the 44 year old is exasperated by the constant press attention – because it distracts her from filming.

She tells Entertainment Weekly, “It drives me crazy. It’s just very hard to get a day’s work done and concentrate.”

Blahnik Sick Of Sex Link

Manolo Blahnik is “sick” of seeing his shoes appear in SEX AND THE CITY because he never wanted to be a celebrity designer.

The luxury heels became a staple on Sarah Jessica Parker’s hit TV show when it first aired in the 1990s, and regular appearances in the long-running series cemented the brand in pop culture.

Blahnik admits the show has given the business a major boost over the years, but he is desperate to distance himself , 3and his shoes – from the fashion-focused franchise.

He says,

“Well, we had a very good year last year, thanks to those stupid satin shoes (which Parker wore in the Sex and the City movie). That shoe saved our company.
“(But) if people talk to me about Sex and the City, I get sick. The taxi drivers recognise me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer.”
