Disney star Selena Gomez has slammed reports she’s already moved on from Nick Jonas – insisting she’s still “single”.

The 17 year old split from the Jonas Brothers star in March because of their busy work schedules.

Gomez has since been romantically linked to Allstar Weekend bassist Cameron Quiseng and has previously faced rumors she’s dating Taylor Lautner.

But the singer/actress has now spoken out to refute the reports.

She says,

“I’m single. When I’m linked with guys it’s like: ‘Oh, they’re my friend. That’s awkward!’”

Selena Gomez To Take Final Bow On Waverly Place

Disney star Selena Gomez is to quit her role on Wizards Of Waverly Place when the hit show’s fourth season ends.

The singer/actress will shoot one last series of the popular children’s show and admits she’s “heartbroken” about the thought of bidding farewell to her castmates after filming wraps.

She says,

“Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about. That’s gonna be a terrible time for me.”

Gomez will thrill fans one last time by stepping into character for a movie adaptation of the show, which will be a sequel to the 2009 Disney hit Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie.

She adds,

“I’m gonna do a movie for my show, which I’ll be excited to end it with, and then a tour.”

Meester Dating Bracey?

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has sparked speculation of a budding new relationship – after she was spotted enjoying a romantic day out with actor Luke Bracey in Paris, France.

The actress is currently in Europe filming upcoming comedy Monte Carlo with the Australian hunk, as well as co-stars Cory Monteith and Selena Gomez.

Meester, who split from boyfriend Sebastian Stan earlier this year, appeared to have taken a liking to her new co-star as she and Bracey went sightseeing around the romantic capital on Wednesday.

The couple was photographed strolling with their arms around each other, smiling and laughing as they walked through the Pere Lachaise cemetery.

Disney Star Henrie Cited Over Shopping Center Fight

Wizards Of Waverly Place star David Henrie was detained by police in Los Angeles on Thursday night after allegedly attempting to start a fight at a shopping center.

The 20 year old, who stars in the Disney show alongside Selena Gomez, was enjoying a night out at Universal CityWalk with his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo, when the pair became embroiled in a dispute with an unnamed person.

Cops intervened and the actor and his sibling were both taken into custody and cited for a misdemeanor offence of challenging a person to a fight.

The pair was handed over to their father on Friday morning.

Selena Gomez is refusing to mark her 18th birthday with a big party – she is planning a quiet dinner with her family instead.

The teen actress/singer threw a massive bash for her Sweet 16, but currently has no plans to celebrate her upcoming 18th on July 22nd.

Gomez reveals she is happy to mark the milestone with nothing more than a quiet family meal.

She says,

“It’s a big deal, but I don’t know. I had a Sweet 16 and I’m not really into that huge party thing. If anything, I’ll go out to dinner with my family.”

Selena Gomez To Launch Kmart Clothing Line

Selena Gomez will launch a line of clothing at Kmart stores this summer.

Gomez, 17, stars in Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.”

The “Dream Out Loud” collection, aimed at teenagers, will go in sale in late July, just in time for the back-to-school shopping season. It will include sportswear, purses, belts and accessories. In October it will be expanded to include shoes, the discount retailer said Tuesday.

I’ve said it before, this kid deserves everything she gets. She’s a hard worker and a class act always!

Selena Gomez Steps In For Kidman In Monte Carlo

Teen sensation Selena Gomez has stepped in for Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman in upcoming movie Monte Carlo, after producers decided to give the script a more youthful spin.

The 17-year-old Disney actress has been named the new star of the comedy, based on the book Headhunters by Jules Bass.

Kidman, 42, was set to star in the film in 2005, which originally followed the novel’s plot more closely and sent four New Jersey women to Monaco, where they posed as heiresses.

According to trade paper Daily Variety, producers have updated the script to instead focus on a group of college and high school girls traveling from Paris, France.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is also reportedly in talks to join the cast
