Victoria’s Secret bosses have unveiled one of Hollywood’s biggest secrets by confirming one of their models, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, will make her acting debut as Megan Fox’s replacement in the third Transformers film in 2011.
The lingerie firm’s marketing experts have posted a 90-second highlights reel of the Victoria’s Secret Angel online with a message of congratulations.
They write,
“Victoria’s Secret would like to congratulate our Angel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley starring in Transformers 3… Go get ‘em, Rosie.”
Paramount movie executives have yet to confirm the casting.
The British model reportedly beat fellow catwalk star Tanit Phoenix for the role of Shia Labeouf’slove interest in the new Transformers film.

Actress Vanessa Hudgens will be honored with the ShoWest Female Star of Tomorrow award at the annual cinema owners convention in Las Vegas in March.
The 21 year old has landed the coveted accolade after impressing movie bosses with her turn in the High School Musical franchise, and her more recent roles, including the upcoming film Beastly.
Her co-star in the fantasy movie, Alex Pettyfer, has been named the Male Star of Tomorrow, with ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine branding the pair “outstanding young talents”.
Katherine Heigl will receive the Female Star of the Year award at the annual ceremony.
Charity bosses have heaped praise on Shia Labeouf after the actor pledged to run a marathon to raise money for U.S. veterans.
The Transformers star will test his fitness levels when he participates in the Los Angeles Marathon on 21 March on behalf of the non-profit foundation U.S. Vets, which provides support for homeless military veterans.
U.S.Vets President Dwight Radcliff says, “We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. Labeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf.”
Labeouf’s dad Jeffrey fought in Vietnam and his paternal grandfather served in the Special Forces.
Funnyman Will Ferrell has topped Forbes’ annual list of most overpaid stars.
The comedian, who was once riding high with a series of hit films including “Elf” and “Talladega Nights,” has recently taken a dive with box office bombs such as “Semi-Pro” and “Land of the Lost.”
According to the mag, for every dollar Will made, his films brought in roughly $3.29. This starkly compares to other stars, including Shia LaBeouf who earned Forbes’ “Best Actor for the Buck” in August. For every dollar Shia was paid, his films earned an average of $160.
Ewan McGregor trailed behind Will, landing second place on the list. His recent films have also under-performed at the box office, earning an average of $3.75 per each dollar the actor was paid.
Shia Labeouf has become so hooked on the world of finance while shooting Oliver Stone sequel Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps – he’s started trading in stocks and shares.
Labeouf plays a young Wall Street whizkid who dates the daughter of Michael Douglas’ Gordon Gekko character in the forthcoming film – currently shooting on location in New York City’s financial district.
And, according to onset sources, the Transformers star has been shadowing real traders and trying his hand at the stock exchange – and winning huge sums.
