Are Actress’ Jayma Mays and Abby Elliott The Same Person?

I never heard of Jayma Mays before and the entire time I was watching Paul Blart: Mall Cop I thought I was watching Saturday Night Lives Abby Elliott.

I even went as far to google to confirm and imagine my surprise when I find the part in the movie is being played by Hayma Mays. I also found many people on the net make the same mistake.

These two could be identical twins!

Will Forte Quits ‘Saturday Night Live’

Will Forte is leaving “Saturday Night Live” after eight seasons.

Forte’s publicist Lewis Kay said Thursday that Forte is moving on from “SNL” “to pursue other opportunities.”

Kay said Forte was “eternally grateful” to producer Lorne Michaels and to “all the incredible people he worked with over the years.”

Forte’s exit from the show was first reported by The New York Times on it website.

The 40-year-old Forte starred in and co-wrote the “SNL” spinoff film “MacGruber,” which was released in May.

This dude could be sorry, he is nowhere near as popular as you need to be to cross into a movie career like the other SNL greats. Could have another Chris Kataen on our hands!

White Draws Big Audience As Comedy Queen On SNL

Golden Girls legend Betty White proved to be a big hit with TV viewers this weekend, when she poked fun at her age and made jokes about sex as the guest host of Saturday Night Live.

The acting veteran was invited onto the comedy sketch show after fans launched a campaign online to see the 88 year old display her comedy timing on the hit program.

White’s participation has been a big coup for SNL bosses – early estimates indicate the latest episode, featuring Jay-z as the musical guest, drew the show’s largest TV audience in 18 months. Final audience figures will be unveiled on Monday.

Tina Fey Making Post-Fame Plans

Tina Fey is already making contingency plans for life after her fame has faded, because she’s convinced her time in the spotlight will be “brief”.

Fey, who began her career as a sketch writer on hit comedy series Saturday Night Live, didn’t find fame until she was in her thirties, and she’s grateful she had time to make a life for herself outside of Hollywood.

She says,

“Not having this level of attention at 20 or 25, I’ve been able to build a real life for myself, one that will endure after this fame thing crashes and burns. Maybe because it came to me later in life, I don’t take my success for granted.”

Fey made her movie debut in 2004, writing and co-starring in Mean Girls with Lindsay Lohan, and launched her own TV show 30 Rock in 2006. She has graduated to lead roles on the big screen, recently starring with Steve Carell in Date Night, but the comic fears her fame will be fleeting.

She adds,

“I realize I’m in a lucky place in my career and in my life right now, but it is not at all to be considered a permanent state. I have to think about how I can continue to work once this is over. I look on this as a very brief moment.”

Funny how some of the most talented see themselves as not talented at all.
