Jewel Funny Or Die Video – Great Stuff
On a recent Monday night at a Los Angeles karaoke bar, a meek-looking woman in a business suit and glasses was coaxed on stage by her co-workers.
While the boozy crowd readied itself for four minutes of awkward singing, the woman – “Karen” – suddenly belted out exquisite, pitch-perfect renditions of the Jewel songs “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “Foolish Games.”
Astonished crowd members picked their jaws off the floor and cheered wildly. One person was heard comparing Karen to “an American Susan Boyle.”
Unbeknownst to them, they had been victims of “undercover karaoke.”
Karen really was Jewel, and the proceedings had been filmed by FunnyOrDie.com, the comedy video website co-founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The video was posted Tuesday and was rapidly circulating online, with more than 160,000 views as of evening.

Average Age Of Adam Lambert’s Fans 60

Read this article and you’ll get an idea of what I’m talking about. The fans quoted in the article are 60, 69 etc. WTF, this is insane.
How I stumbled on this article was Adam Lambert Curator MysteriosoMan sent me a pic above of a fan at a show.
What caught my eye was her “Adam Lambert Network” pass clipped to her LEATHER pants and the fact she looks about 65.
I googled her name and came upon this article, in it she says she is 60ish and that she likes Adam because his style parallels her. Again, WTF?

Here is a pic of an 89 year old mother in a wheel chair and her daughter. What causes something like this? I believe it happened to Clay Aiken as well. Is it Idol? Gay? What?
In a recent interview Lambert claims that Susan Boyle makes him laugh but the funny thing is she’s younger than most of his fans!

Adam Lambert Says Susan Boyle’s Album Made Him Laugh
Filed under: Adam Lambert,American Idol,Lady Gaga,Rihanna,Susan Boyle,Tool of the Day

When Adam LamEbert released his debut album For Your Entertainment in November, he was able to best both Rihanna and pal Lady Gaga on the albums chart. But he was still outsold by one other reality show contestant: Susan Boyle.
“I know, if only it weren’t for Susan Boyle!”
the “American Idol” alum joked in the March issue of the U.K.’s Gay Times magazine
“I’m happy for her success, but that album is terrible. [The cover of the Rolling Stones'] ‘Wild Horses’ is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it. I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!”
And though his criticism of Boyle’s album sounds harsh, Lambert is more intent on silencing his own critics.
“Still, when my album charted, it was validating,” he added. “I was feeling bit attacked, like I had to vindicate something. I thought: ‘Wow, look what I did.’ “
Earlier this month, Lambert told MTV News that he was excited to tour overseas, where he thinks his on- and offstage antics won’t seem so controversial.
“I think the European audiences are generally a little more liberal,”
he said.
“I’m sure there are certain things that I do that won’t upset people as much as they do here.”
Hey Adam you TOOL, I can’t wait for the fans in the UK to get a hold of you, you dissed their National Treasure and then your going to go there and look for support? How many wrong moves can you make at a time? For dissing Subo your headed to my TOOL OF THE DAY section.

Ke$ha Loves Big Fat Guys

Ke$ha isn’t so happy that she knocked off Susan Boyle from the top of the pop chart.
The singer said on Sirius XM, “They act like I beat her up.” A horrifying thought. Ke$ha said she’d do the opposite: “She’s sweet. I’d kiss her. Hasn’t she never kissed anybody before?”
She also observed, “I want to make out with the fat guy from ‘The Hangover’ [Zach Galifianakis]. He’s amazing . . . I like big, fat guys with beards that wear thick glasses.”
Wonderful, you’ve just opened yourself up to a whole new cross section of stalkers.
Take a shower honey or all you are going to attract is big fat smelly guys!

Simon Cowell Is Working On Charity Single
Filed under: Celebs Do Good,Simon Cowell,Susan Boyle
American Idol’s Simon Cowell is rushing to organize a celebrity-filled “We Are the World”-style song to benefit those affected by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti.
Susan Boyle and Leona Lewis have already signed on to the project.
“We are going to do a single. I want to do something for Haiti, and we had a request from the Prime Minister to put a record together,”
says Simon.
“I’ve got to get it together in 48 hours. It’s not the best timing but I will make it happen,” he adds.

Ke$ha To End Susan Boyle’s No. 1 Run On Billboard 200
Filed under: Ke$ha,Susan Boyle

The party girl is going to kick the Scottish lady to the curb this week, as Ke$ha’s “Animal” will triumph over Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” in the Billboard 200 chart that will be unveiled on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
While the chart hasn’t been finished yet, label sources indicate that what was originally thought to be a race between the two albums last Wednesday turned out to be any easy win for Ke$ha.
Her “Animal” album was initially projected to sell maybe 100,000 copies in the week that just ended on Sunday, Jan. 10. However, sources say it actually sold about 150,000 copies, easily beating Boyle’s “Dream.”
All of these figures are projections from industry sources based on internal data. The real, final Nielsen SoundScan numbers, as reflected in the Billboard 200 album chart, won’t be released until Wednesday, Jan. 13.
We’ll have more news on Ke$ha’s all-but-certain No. 1 album here on Wednesday morning.

Taylor Swift Edges Susan Boyle For 2009′s Top-Selling Album
Filed under: Susan Boyle,Taylor Swift
Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” reigns for a sixth straight week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 137,000 (down 73%) according to Nielsen SoundScan, bringing her cumulative sales total up to 3,104,000.
However, while that is a huge sales sum — especially considering it was totaled in just six weeks time — it’s not enough to overtake Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” as 2009′s top selling album. The latter is at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 this week, selling another 60,000 — bringing its 2009 total to 3,217,000.
Of course, Boyle can rest easy in knowing that her “Dream” is but one of just two albums to sell at least 3 million copies in the U.S. last year — something that hasn’t happened since 2006, when three albums did it.
Boyle’s “Dream” is also 2009′s top selling album released last year (Swift’s “Fearless” dropped in late 2008), and was also the top selling physical album of 2009. Of its overall 2009 total, physical CDs accounted for 3,019,000 copies, whereas digital downloads made up a rather tiny 86,000.
Taylor might have beat Susan but you must remember that Susan did these numbers in just 6 weeks, Taylor had 52 weeks. Congrats to both ladies!

Susan Boyle Spends Fifth Week At No. 1 On Billboard 200
Filed under: Music News,Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” holds at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for a fifth consecutive week, selling another 510,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. So far, the set has shifted 2,982,000 copies in America.
“Dream” has sold more than half a million copies in each of its first five weeks of release — something only four albums have done since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. The Beatles’ “1″ did it in its first six weeks, while Garth Brooks’ “Sevens” and Backstreet Boys’ “Black & Blue” each managed 500,000-plus frames in their first five weeks.
With just one more tracking week left in the year, “Dream” may overtake Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” as the year’s top selling album in the U.S. Swift’s “Fearless” has sold 3,157,000 in 2009 — thus, the gap between the two is down to just 175,000. Because of a quirk in the calendar, instead of 52 tracking weeks in 2009, there are 53. The final week of 2009 will reflect sales data for the week ending Jan. 3. Because four out of the seven days in that week fall in 2009, the full week gets credited to 2009.
Believe it or not, with the continued domination of “I Dreamed a Dream,” Boyle is the first artist in the Billboard 200′s 53-year chart history to enter the list at No. 1 with a debut album and spend five consecutive weeks at the summit. In second place are Lauryn Hill (1998) and Ashanti (2002), each with three weeks in charge out of the gate with “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” and “Ashanti,” respectively.
Because Boyle continues to dominate the Billboard 200, a superstar diva is forced to sit on the sidelines again this week: Mary J. Blige’s “Stronger With Each Tear” debuts at No. 2 with 330,000 copies. Her arrival comes one week after Alicia Keys’ “The Element of Freedom” bowed at No. 2 behind Boyle with 417,000.

Gaga Loves Subo
Susan Boyle’s rags to riches story has won her hordes of celebrity fans including Demi Moore, Oprah Winfreyand even US president Barack Obama.
Now it turns out Lady Gaga is a Susan Boyle supporter too. And as crackers as this sounds, she’s not ruling out a GaGa/SuBo collaboration.
Gaga said:
“I love Susan Boyle. She is my woman of the year. She has achieved more in this year than most artists will in a lifetime.
“This time last year nobody even knew who she was and now she is knocking the world’s most established artists off the album and singles charts.“Our styles are different. I don’t know if we could work together, but never say never. It would be great to work with somebody of that talent.”
As usually Lady Gaga is nothing but CLASS as she lays praise on a fellow artist. Most celebs would be jealous that Subo jumped onto the scene and stole the thunder, not Gaga!
