Actress Susan Sarandon was left wiping vomit off her blouse during a night out at a New York cabaret last week b10) – after a performer threw up on her mid-show.
Sarandon was among a crowd of celebrity revelers at Manhattan hotspot The Box on Thursday night – when transsexual performer Rose Wood presented a bizarre act with the Oscar winner sitting front row.
And when Wood threw up on stage as part of the performance, Sarandon was splashed with the unpleasant vomit.
But the actress refused to let the foul act ruin her night. A witness says, “She actually handled it very well. She was laughing while a bunch of guys came over to towel her off.”
If you recall, several months ago I posted a story about Adam Lambert attending the same club and getting pissed on by a tranny. Lambert went on record as saying it was all a gag and that the performer had a device that discharged the “fake” urine. Friends he was with twittered a different story.
This sounds like a hot club, where else can you see tranny’s and get pissed and vomited on.
The newly single actress, 63, was seen looking “quite happy” in the company of a “younger-looking fellow” around 2 a.m. Monday, New York’s Daily News reports.
“They shared a crepe with Nutella and whipped cream,” an eyewitness says of Sarandon’s late night bite at the Creperie in Manhattan’s West Village. “[They] stayed and chatted for a while.”
On Dec. 23, Sarandon’s rep confirmed to UsMagazine.com that, over the summer, the actress had split from actor Tim Robbins after 23 years together.
Sarandon and Robbins, 51, have two sons: Jack Henry, 20, and Miles Guthrie, 17. (Sarandon has a daughter Eva Amurri, 24, from a previous relationship with Italian director Franco Amurri.)
In 2004, Sarandon said of her partnership with Robbins, “We fight strongly but fairly. I can’t say that it is always comfortable, but he is my really good friend.”
The newest members of New Jersey’s Hall of Fame include actors Jack Nicholson and Danny DeVito, musicians Les Paul and Count Basie, and authors Philip Roth and Judy Blume.
The list includes former President Woodrow Wilson, Olympian Carl Lewis, architect Michael Graves and former Supreme Court Justice William Brennan.
Rounding out the list of 2010 honorees are baseball player Larry Doby; women’s rights advocate Alice Paul; actress Susan Sarandon ; astronaut Wally Schirra; and singer Frankie Valli.
The winners were chosen online by New Jerseyans and by the hall’s Voting Academy of 100 state organizations.
This is the third class to be elected. The induction ceremony will be in May.

Susan Sarandon was so relaxed about her actress daughter stripping off for a role in raunchy TV drama Californication, she actually encouraged her to take the part.
Eva Amurri, Sarandon’s daughter with Italian director Franco Amurri, played Jackie, a woman who studied during the day and worked as a stripper by night, on a recent episode of David Duchovny’s hit TV series.
And Sarandon insists she had no qualms about the 24 year old getting naked onscreen because she knew Amurri would enjoy herself.
Speaking before the show aired in the U.S. on Sunday, she told the New York Daily News,
“I think if she were playing something that was going to be really hard for her psychologically or damaging, I’d be more concerned, but she had a really good time with the sex thing.
“She plays a woman who, as far as I can tell, is really in charge of her life and is not a victim. So it sounded to me like it would be a blast. I’ve already seen little bits and pieces of some of the nudity and she looks beautiful.”
