Vampires and werewolves have topped a poll of the world’s hottest men, with Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner leading Glamor magazine’s coveted shortlist.

British hunk Pattinson has topped the publication’s poll to find the sexiest stars and is closely followed by Twilight werewolf Lautner in second place, while The Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder came in third.

Another vampire, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Xavier Samuel, came fourth, while Kellan Lutz, who plays another vampire in the franchise, took fifth place.

Other stars to make the top 10 include Johnny Depp, Justin Bieber and Gerard Butler.

Pattinson Cosies Up To Stewart On Film Set

Robert Pattinson has fueled long-running reports he’s dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart after paying a visit to the actress on the set of her new movie On The Road.

The British hunk plays Stewart’s love interest in the hit vampire series and he is rumored to be romancing the actress off screen, too.

The stars have repeatedly denied the claims but this week, Pattinson was caught on camera snuggling up to Stewart on the set in Montreal, Canada during breaks in filming.

One shot even appears to show the actor leaning in for a kiss.

Does anyone actually NOT believe they are an item?

Robert Pattinson Bitten By A Lion

Robert Pattinson had a lucky escape when he was bitten by a lion on the set of his new movie – the beast had no teeth.

The Twilight star plays a circus worker in Water for Elephants, and found himself shooting scenes with a variety of animals throughout filming.

And he had a nasty moment when a lion clamped its jaws around his arm – but the actor escaped unscathed because the “gentle” creature was merely being friendly.

Pattinson says

, “Almost every day I’m working with an exotic animal… It’s insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth. They were like, ‘It’s fine, he does it all the time.’ And I was like, ‘Erm, Ok…’ But they had to get him to do it harder, because he was being so gentle and just licking my arm.”

Twilight Stars Want Betty White For Breaking Dawn

The stars and creator of the Twilight film franchise want beloved TV star Betty White to join them in the Breaking Dawn movies.

Kellan Lutz, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Reaser, Peter Facinelli and Julia Jones are among the vampires and werewolves who would love to welcome the Golden Girls star to the cast.

And even author Stephanie Meyer would like to see White as an elderly vampire villain.

Lutz says,

“I would love for them to do what they did in (film) Benjamin Button with her and she can be Renee (Sarah Clarke’s character) or Esme (Reaser’s character). I would change some scenes up so we could have Emmet (Lutz’s character) going for her. I want to work with her. That would be so much fun.”

And Reaser adds, “I’d love for her to be in Breaking Dawn. We could all learn a lot from her.”

While Jones suggests White could play Kirsten Stewart’s great-great-grandmother “in a flashback scene”.

But Twilight series author Meyer has a more sinister idea. She tells Eonline.com, “We have so many vampires in Breaking Dawn, surely she can fit in somewhere. Wouldn’t it be amazing if she was like just sitting there with a big group of the Volturi (vampire sect)? That would be amazing.”

White has experienced a career resurgence in recent months after she featured in a hilarious U.S. Snickers bar commercial during the Super Bowl telecast.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner To Earn $25 million for ‘Breaking Dawn’

The stars of “Twilight” have landed a bloody huge pay check for the final two movies in the teen vampire series.

According to New York magazine, Summit will pay Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner an unprecedented $25 million each against 7.5 per cent of the theatrical gross for starring in parts one and two of “Breaking Dawn.”

Though “Eclipse” is on its way to making more than “New Moon’s” box office haul of $710 million, if “Breaking Dawn” earned as much as “New Moon,” 7.5 per cent of that would mean the stars could add another $16 million to their salary for a total of $41 million.

According to box office guru Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com, the Twi-stars have landed in Will Smith territory.

“A $20 million pay day was typically reserved for A-list stars back in hey day of big salaries,” he told the Daily News. “This proves the point that [these days] the star doesn’t make the box office, the box office makes the star.”

Though RPattz, TayTay and KStew are not thought of as A-listers, Dergarabedian says the last three “Twilight” movies have made around $1.5 billion globally.

“Their box office is huge and they are essential to the success of these films,” he says.

And the success continues. “Twilight: Eclipse” took in an impressive $82.5 million during the Fourth of July weekend, raising its total box office haul to $175.3 million in just six days.

The third film in the “Twilight” series earned the second biggest opening day ever on Wednesday when it earned $68.5 million.

Alex Meraz’s Sickly Fan Encounter

The Twilight Saga star Alex Meraz was left stunned by a recent encounter with the franchise’s devoted fans after one girl vomited in front of him.

The vampire movie series attracts hordes of dedicated followers and Meraz, who plays wolfman Paul, has garnered plenty of female attention since he joined the cast for the second outing, The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

The actor admits fans often get over-excited when they meet their idols and one encounter left him spattered with vomit.

He says,

“The worst experience I had with a fan was when one vomited. Luckily she turned in time and most of it missed me. I hope it was because she was excited to see me and not disgusted.”

Ashley Greene Moving To New York

Twilight star Ashley Greene is swapping Los Angeles for New York in a bid to escape the spotlight.

The actress has gained legions of devoted fans and she’s been a regular in gossip columns since she shot to fame in the hit 2008 movie.

But she’s decided to move to Manhattan in a quest for a more peaceful life.

She says,

“The other day I had eight paparazzi following me. And for what? To watch me eat ice cream? It’s just silly. That’s why I’m looking for an apartment in New York. There’s so much going on here (in New York) and I don’t think everything would drop just because I walked into a room. It’s nice.

“There are times where I have to sit back and breathe but at the end of the day I would rather have this life than not.”

Scary Paranormal Activity 2 Trailer Pulled From Cinemas

The trailer for new horror movie Paranormal Activity 2 has been pulled from cinemas in Texas because of complaints it is too scary.

The promo for the film started to run in movie theaters prior to midnight screenings of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on Wednesday.

The clip caused cinema-goers to complain to bosses at the Cinemark chain about the frightening footage.

Ryan Seacrest even took to his Twitter.com page to warn film fans about the trailer, writing,

“Paranormal Activity 2 teaser trailer… hold someone.”

Officials at Cinemark have now removed the promo from a number of complexes in Texas, reports Variety.

Twilight star Taylor Lautner is a huge fan of TV talent show American Idol – because he’s tone deaf.

The hunky actor boasts he has never missed an episode in nine years – but it’s not because he has secret musical dreams.

He says,

“I can’t sing, which is the funny thing, so maybe that’s why I like watching it so much. I know there’s no way I can do that.

“I think there is a statement in my contract promising there will be no musical numbers!”

Twilight Fans Start Camping For Los Angeles Premiere

Die-hard Twilight fans have turned the Nokia Plaza L.A. Live in Los Angeles into a vampire lovers’ village after setting up camp in anticipation of the Eclipse premiere on Thursday night.

Devotees started pitching tents on the pavement on Monday – four days before big screening.

The campers all hope their hardy efforts will be rewarded with wristbands that will gain them access to a fan viewing area at the premiere.
