‘New Moon’ Director Waxes on ‘Steamy’ ‘Eclipse’

This should get all the Twihards atwitter! “New Moon” director Chris Weitz says “Eclipse,” the “Twilight” saga’s third installment, should provide some “steamy” moments.

“I’m looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say,”

Weitz says.

“That’s going to be very steamy.”

For those “Eclipse’s” fans in the know, [SPOILER!] the “tent scene” highlights a freezing Bella (Kristen Stewart), on the run from evil vamp Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard), getting warmed-up by hot-blooded werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as he squeezes into her sleeping bag — all while a jealous Edward (Robert Pattinson) looks on.

Weitz, who handed the directing reins over to David Slade for “Eclipse,” says he is also fully supporting “Twilight” star Anna Kendrick (Bella’s BF Jessica), who has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her turn in “Up in the Air.”

“I voted for her, of course, because she’s my homie,” says Weitz, joking that if teenage girls made up the Academy voting body, he’d have a Best Picture nom in his pocket, too. “It’s a scandal that there are not more teenage girls in the Academy.”

Stewart Supports Pattinson At New York Premiere

Kristen Stewart fueled rumors she is dating her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson after turning out to support the actor at the New York premiere of his latest movie Remember Me.

Pattinson was in the Big Apple on Monday for the first screening of the upcoming romantic drama, in which he stars opposite Emilie de Ravin.

And Stewart did nothing to quash speculation they are dating – she graced the red carpet to show her dedication to Pattinson’s career.

The appearance follows reports Pattinson confirmed his relationship with the actress to journalists last month. The pair was then spotted enjoying an intimate date in a London pub to watch a concert by Pattinson’s sister Lizzy.

They were also seen kissing at New York restaurant Laconda Verde on Sunday, with a fellow diner telling the New York Daily News, “Robert and Kristen sat really close together and kept touching and rubbing each other’s arms as if no one else was around. They definitely appeared to be an item.”

Pattinson ‘Confused’ By 3D Movies

Robert Pattinson is hoping the final Twilight movie isn’t released in 3D – because he finds the technology “confusing”.

The British hunk, who plays bloodsucker Edward Cullen, is preparing to start work on the final installment of the vampire franchise, Breaking Dawn.

And he’s hoping film bosses decide against releasing the movie in 3D, as he fears watching it back would give him a headache.

He tells MTV News,

“The 3D thing confuses me. I haven’t seen Avatar or any of these 3D movie things yet. The idea of it… I remember 3D movies from when I was a kid, and I can just picture it giving me a headache.”

Hey nobody ever said the guy was a rocket scientist right?

Pattinson ‘Confirms Stewart Romance’ – Finally!

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has reportedly confirmed he is dating co-star Kristen Stewart, ending months of speculation.

The Brit has been romantically linked to Stewart ever since the pair starred in the first movie in the vampire franchise together in 2008.

The actors have constantly dodged questions about their love lives, but now Pattinson has allegedly announced he’s dating the American star.

The pair both attended the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards in London on Sunday, where Stewart picked up the Orange Rising Star trophy.

Both Pattinson and Stewart kept their distance at the ceremony at the British capital’s Royal Opera House, but were later spotted leaving the afterparty at Grosvenor House together.

And the actor has now admitted he is in a relationship with Stewart, but explains they have to stay apart for the sake of their fans.

He reportedly tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper,

“It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes. We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

Glad he acknowledged the relationship before the two of them are in rocking chairs!

Lautner Turns Off Northern Lights

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has pulled out of fighter pilot drama Northern Lights, according to reports.

The 18 year old had signed up to star as a young pilot who struggles with his controlling, billionaire father, with Tom Cruise rumored to be in the running to play Lautner’s onscreen dad.

But the teenager has now pulled out of the project.

Lautner has a string of other movie projects lined up outside of the Twilight franchise, including thriller Cancun and sci-fi action movie Max Steel.

Harry Potter Star Dating Twilight Vampire

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright has confirmed she’s dating Twilight vampire Jamie Campbell Bower.

Reports of romance swirled around the young British stars after they attended a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) event together last year, but neither actor has commented on their relationship – until now.

Teenager Wright, who met Campbell Bower on the set of Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, reveals,

“Yes, we’re dating. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months. It’s good.”

Wright also confirms her boyfriend will be her date for the BAFTA Awards in London on Sunday.

The young sweethearts are reportedly set to test their new romance on the big screen as movie lovers.

The actress, and The Twilight Saga: New Moon star will team up for new movie Sweat, according to reports.

Wright has already signed up to star as film’s leading lady and Bower is in talks to play her high society lover.

Pierce Brosnan Impressed With Pattinson

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has earned the respect of former 007 Pierce Brosnan – for the way he’s handling fame.

The two stars recently teamed up as father and son in new movie Remember Me, and Brosnan admits the younger actor impressed him.

He tells Parade.com,

“We filmed in New York and there always seemed to be hundreds of screaming teenage girls around and I knew they weren’t screaming for me.

“I know it’s tough for Robert to cope with that kind of attention. I’ve been there and I sympathize with him, but I think he’s handling it quite well. I think that, so far, he’s got it under control.”

Actor Alex Meraz Attacks Lautner’s Valentine’s Day

Actor Alex Meraz has risked the wrath of his The Twilight Saga: New Moon co-star Taylor Lautner after posting a series of criticisms online, branding the teenager’s star-studded new movie Valentine’s Day “lame”.

Lautner stars alongside Hollywood heavyweights Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Alba in the romantic comedy, as well as his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift.

But Meraz is not impressed by the line-up and has attacked movie studio bosses for assembling such a headline-grabbing cast just to cash in at the box office.

In a series of tweets on his Twitter.com page on Thursday Meraz wrote:

“Sorry Taylor but the movie Valentine’s Day looks lame and desperate. It cries out, ‘look we have all the biggest starz in 1 movie pleez (sic) watch!’

“P.S. it has nothing to do with the talented actors in the movie. I just don’t like the producer & Director’s ‘get rich quick skeem’ (sic) nuff (enough) said.”

Meraz later realizes his comments might cause some controversy and takes to the social networking site to vow not to post similar outbursts in the future.

He adds,

“Talk about biting the hand that feeds me… I’ll be careful next time I spill twitter all over everyone.”

What a MORON!!! Sounds like a jealous baby!

Kellan Lutz Strips Down for New Calvin Klein Ad!

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz is among the hunks stripping down to their skivvies in new ads promoting Calvin Klein’s latest male underwear collection, X.

The campaign also features True Blood star Mehcad Brooks, Spanish tennis star Fernando Verdasco and Japanese athlete Hidetoshi Nakata.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the new X campaign promises to be Calvin Klein’s most digital to date. It launches March 1, so keep your eyes open for behind-the-scenes videos; interviews with the four guys and 3D-effect versions of the ads.

“We’re thinking bold, graphic and provocative, as always,” said Bob Mazzoli, chief creative officer for Calvin Klein Underwear.

How did Lutz, 24, get in shape for the ads?

“I swear, candy helps! Gummy bears!” he told UsMagaizne.com at a Calvin Klein cocktail bash Jan. 28 in L.A. “It helps fight the hunger of higher calorie foods, but it is bad for the teeth.”

Joan Jett Impressed With Stewart’s Likeness In Runaways

Joan Jett is delighted with Kristen Stewart’s portrayal of her in new movie biopic The Runaways – insisting the Twilight star’s “quiet intensity” defined her.

The teenager studied Jett by listening to the icon’s music and partying with the star, and even mastered playing a left-handed guitar in a bid to portray the rocker authentically.

And Jett is convinced Stewart’s dedication paid off.

She says,

“I thought she had a quiet intensity, the physical stuff… just the way we move in space. We shake our legs, our hands are all over. She just studied me, man.”
