Tennis Ace Capriati Hospitalized

Former tennis ace Jennifer Capriati has been admitted to hospital after allegedly suffering a suspected overdose.

The sports star, 34, was taken to a Florida medical facility on Sunday morning after paramedics were called to a hotel in Riviera Beach, reports TMZ.com.

Capriati’s dad, Stefano, reportedly tells the website the Olympic gold medal-winner is in a stable condition and recovering well.

Chris Klein Blasted By Animals Rights Group Over DUI

American Pie star Chris Klein has been slammed by officials of a leading animals rights group for driving under the influence (DUI) – with a dog in his car.

The actor was pulled over by police on Wednesday morning. He failed a field sobriety test and then hit the headlines.

But it’s what cops found in the vehicle that have animal rights activists fuming – and officials at the In Defense of Animals organization are unimpressed with his irresponsible conduct.

A spokesperson for the group says,

“By choosing to drive under the influence with his dog in the car, Chris not only put innocent drivers in danger, but broke a promise to be a protector and guardian to his pet.”

Coleman’s Wife Defends Her Life-and-death Decision

Gary Coleman’s ex-wife chose to turn off the star’s life support system because she was convinced he would have ended up like ailing boxing legend Muhammad Ali if he had survived his brain hemorrhage.

Officials at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center found themselves at the center of controversy this week after it was revealed Shannon Price had claimed she was still married to the Diff’rent Strokes actor when she gave doctors permission to switch off the machine keeping him alive.

It was soon revealed that the couple had divorced in 2008, although they continued to live together in Coleman’s Utah home.

Bosses at the hospital investigated the scandal and ruled that Coleman had signed an Advanced Health Care Directive, granting Price permission to make the life-and-death decision.

Now Price has spoken out to defend her controversial choice, insisting her former partner would have “bled to death” if he had undergone brain surgery or become like Parkinson’s Disease sufferer Muhammad Ali, had he survived.

In a video interview obtained by TMZ.com, she explains,

“The doctors told us that even if they had done surgery on him, he would’ve died. He would’ve bled to death during the surgery. Even if they did take a chunk out of his brain, he would not be the same. He’d basically be like Muhammad Ali… I mean, Gary was gone.

“I don’t want people to be so hard on me thinking I had to pull the plug too early. He wouldn’t have made it anyway. His heart would’ve just given out. I don’t want people to sit there and think I’m a b**ch, and that I didn’t care about him.”

Price also addresses speculation she was to blame for the fall that led to Coleman’s brain hemorrhage. She adds,

“A lot of people sit there and say, yeah, she pushed him. People are so cruel, they don’t even know. I was upstairs, he was downstairs. How am I going to push him? Why would I want to hurt my husband, are you kidding?”

Check out the SMILING ex-wife of Coleman and her agent just ONE DAY after pulling the plug on Gary. Bitch sure looks happy! I’d check this whole thing out. Smells fishy to me.

Pop Star Ke$ha Sued By Former Managers In NYC

Ke$ha’s former managers say the pop star squeezed them out of her career under pressure from hit songwriter Dr. Luke, but her lawyer said Friday she simply exercised her rights to fire the managers when they didn’t perform.

Ke$ha, who had the No. 1 song in the country with “TiK ToK” earlier this year, signed up with ex-managers DAS Communications Inc. when she was an up-and-comer in 2006. Their agreement called for her to pay the New York-based firm 20 percent of her music income, but it gave her the option of ending the relationship if DAS didn’t get her a major-label record deal in a year, according to a copy of the contract attached to a lawsuit DAS filed Wednesday.

A year later, there was no deal. DAS says Ke$ha waived the deadline, and the firm went on to line up a deal for her with Warner Bros. Records in 2008 – until Dr. Luke interfered with that arrangement and “induced, intimidated and convinced Ke$ha” to cut ties to DAS in September 2008.

She ultimately signed with RCA/Jive Label Group, which released her first album, “Animal,” in January. Dr. Luke co-produced it.

The lawsuit, filed in state court in Manhattan, seeks more than $14 million in damages from her and $12 million from Dr. Luke, who won songwriter of the year at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ Pop Music Awards last month. No representative or phone number for him could be found.

Ke$ha’s lawyer, Charles Ortner, said she was entitled to end her relationship with the firm, headed by David Sonenberg. He has worked with Paula Abdul, Meat Loaf and others.

“This lawsuit seeks to require her to pay him commissions on her RCA/Jive record deal that he had nothing to do with, long after she terminated him in writing,” Ortner said.

Recorded messages Friday evening at the offices of Warner Bros. Records and RCA/Jive’s parent company, Sony Music Entertainment, said they were closed for the Memorial Day weekend.

Dr. Luke, born Lukasz Gottwald, wrote five of the top hits of 2009, including Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold,” Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” and Flo Rida’s “Right Round.”

Hayley Williams Accidently Posts Nude Pic

A little while ago this picture comes across Paramore’s Hayley Williams twitter account.

It immediately was removed and then Hayley made a post claiming she was hacked. So was the photo on her phone and the hacker released it? Why would the hacker delete right away? Surely Hayley wouldn’t know she’s been hacked in a mere minute. She doesn’t deny the photo is real in her post.

She bought a new Blackberry phone earlier in the day with a “Send To Twitter” feature and many are speculating that she accidentally sent the photo to Twitter instead of perhaps her boyfriend Chad Gilbert who’s away in England playing a gig.

Hayley has not commented since she said she was hacked. She did not claim the photo was fake. Exif data on the photo confirms it came from the model Blackberry that Hayley claims to have bought.

Hope this doesn’t send her packing from Twitter.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton has been involved in a minor car crash in Connecticut.

The ex-leader was on his way to a speech engagement at Yale University when his sports utility vehicle was hit from behind.

Clinton continued to Yale and delivered his address. He made no mention of the accident.

Michael C. Hall Uses Hi-tech Wig On New Film

Dexter star Michael C. Hall is wearing a hi-tech $10,000 wig on the set of his new movie to hide his hair loss from cancer treatment.

Hall shocked fans when he appeared at the Golden Globe Awards in January sporting a hat to hide his bald head, just days after revealing he was being treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The actor underwent his last chemotherapy session in March and has since returned to work on new movie East Fifth Bliss.

But his famous red hair didn’t grow back in time, forcing filmmakers to turn to technology to recapture his trademark look.

A source says,

“The wig is made entirely of human hair strands that have been sewn separately into the wig base. The whole

thing is the best that money can buy and cost around $10,000, so producers have assigned specific crew members to look after the wig and keep it groomed between shots.”

Hall, who is married to his Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter, is scheduled to start shooting season five of the serial killer drama

series later this year.
