Lady Gaga ‘Hospitalized Six Times Last Year’

Lady Gaga was hospitalized six times last year due to problems with her diet, it’s been reported.

The singer’s ex-tour manager David Ciemny claims in a new book that the singer frequently went on crash diets.

“

When I say she was sick, I mean physically and mentally,”

he says in the book, entitled Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga.

Written by Maureen Callahan, the unofficial biography claims to be “the first in-depth biography of the extraordinary cultural phenomenon that is Lady Gaga”.

It features interviews with friends, employees, rivals, and music industry veterans.

An exert from the book, which has been serialized in today’s Sun newspaper, also claims that there was “pressure” on the star to lose weight.

It also apparently lifts the lid on Lady Gaga’s mental state, including the suggestion that she hired someone to accompany her at all times on tour.

Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga is released later this month.

Lady Gaga is currently on the latest North American leg of her Monster Ball world tour. She is due to release her new album in the new year.

Lindsay Lohan Crashes Into Baby Carriage?

Here we go!!!

Brayan Jaime tells TMZ he was at Lindsay’s West Hollywood apartment yesterday — working his very first day on the job as a freelance paparazzo with another dude.

Jaime tells us he spotted Lindsay in her Maserati pulling out of her apartment building, then running a red light and making a left, right into the stroller.

Jaime says it was

“full impact … It was a major hit.”

Jaime tells us the bumper struck the nanny in the leg and hit the stroller

“in the middle, knocking 3 of the 4 wheels in the air.”

Jaime says the baby was crying. We asked Jaime about the video his friend shot seconds after the alleged incident — in which the nanny is strolling along, seemingly unaffected. He said,

“She was in shock and Hispanic so she was scared.”

No police report has been filed. As for why Jaime didn’t call the cops, he said,

“I should have. I’m not sure. I didn’t want to get involved.”

Who knows if this story is true but could be a case of an illegal alien nanny that doesn’t want to come forward.

Kat Von D: ‘I Believe Jesse James is The One’

“L.A. Ink” star, Kat Von D was accompanied by a special date to the opening of her Wonderland Gallery Thursday night — Jesse James!

The tattoo artist wasn’t shy to gush about her new beau, who finalized his divorced from Oscar winner Sandra Bullock in June.

“Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love,”

Von D said when asked if she and James had made it official.

When asked if she believed that the motorcycle maven was “The One” for her, she replied, “I believe he is.”

Kat and Jesse have been friends for six years, but the “L.A. Ink” star said she stayed out of all the drama surrounding Jesse’s cheating scandal — and that she never hesitated when it came to dating him.

“I stayed away from that as much as possible, and when we connected recently, it was such a positive thing. It was just like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe I haven’t spent this much time with you the entire time I’ve known you.’ Now I’m just embracing it and enjoying it.”

Jesse wasn’t as vocal about his relationship with Kat, but when asked if he was happy, he replied, “Yes,” and that he’s at a point in his life that he believes he “deserves to be happy.”

This is funny, a few weeks ago they denied they were even an item, These two Nazi Loving Anti-Semites belong together. All you need is Mel Gibson and you have a threesome!

Lady Gaga becomes Lady Liberty!

For the “New York Issue” of fashion mag V, the pop superstar puts her edgy spin on one of America’s — and NYC’s — most iconic symbols.

With designer Marc Jacobs close by, the 24-year-old singer has long, blonde hair sculpted into the Statue of Liberty’s famous crown; wearing a bra, panties, draped fabric falling off her waist, she holds a burning paper torch.

Gaga was born and raised in the Big Apple.

Explains V editor Stephen Gan of the pic, snapped by photographer Mario Testino:

“Just as the Statue of Liberty was France’s gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York’s greatest gift to pop culture and fashion…she has become a bonafide genius and we can safely declare her our muse.”

PIC: Dirty Dancing Star Jennifer Grey Returns to the Dance Floor!

New photos have been released of Jennifer Grey rehearsing with partner Derek Hough.

Grey, 50, last showed off her moves in 1987′s Dirty Dancing.

Though she and costar Patrick Swayze famously perfected the lift in the blockbuster romance, she told UsMagazine.com her dancing skills have since slipped.

Asked if she feels like the frontrunner, she told Us,

“Seriously? No, I don’t at all!

“We all have different strengths and weaknesses,” she added, “and I’ve got a handful of both.”

She told Us she signed up for the show because she thought it would be

“really fun. And I thought it would be a really great way to challenge myself and show by example to my 8-year old what it’s like to watch mommy walk through her fears.”

Said Grey, “I’m scared silly.”

Looking at the cast as a whole Grey is my pick to win.

Report: Jennifer Lopez + ‘American Idol’ = A Done Deal

Looks like there’s going to be a seat at the “American Idol” judges table for Jennifer Lopez after all.

According to TMZ, JLo is in final stages of negotiations with “American Idol” producers — and it’s almost a done deal.

Producers believe that the singer is the key to re-energizing the show, and a decision could be announced at early as next week.

Steve Tyler, Jessica Simpson and Shania Twain have also been rumored to be joining the hit FOX series.
