Demi Lovato Dating Joe Jonas

Filed under: Couples, Demi Lovato, Disney, Jonas Brothers

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are the latest Disney stars to get together.

Lovato opened up to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush after he made multiple jabs at her love life.

Bush asked Lovato if she had ever dated a Jonas Brother, in which she replied, “Umm, maybe.”

Bush later asked if Lovato and Joe went from being a couple to being best friends, to which Lovato replied that the unraveling of the relationship was actually in the opposite direction. After further prompting, she revealed that they are indeed boyfriend-girlfriend. She added that he is an incredible person.

I don’t buy these Disney Romances, isn’t it ironic they go public days after finishing a video for their new duet together? It’s all marketing, and Disney is one of the best.

‘Tiger Woods’ Makes ‘South Park’ Appearance

Filed under: TV News, Tiger Woods

Golf clubs in hands or not, the kids of “South Park” are ready to take on Tiger Woods.

Creators of the Comedy Central cartoon have long since proven that no subject is sacred to them. So for the opening of its 14th season on Wednesday, the troubled golfer encounters Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in their animated Colorado town.

“It’s such an important issue in America right now — the sex addiction outbreak,”

Matt Stone, who makes the series with partner Trey Parker, said on Friday.

“We’re all really concerned about him and hope he gets better.”

“South Park” is airing its 200th episode next month.

Lady Gaga’s Bloody Nun Outfit Debut, Video Causes Uproar

Lady Gaga
thrilled fans in New Zealand on Saturday with a burning piano, blood and a latex nun outfit featuring in her first concert in Auckland, according to local media reports.

Her electrifying concert at Vector Arena, kicking off her Antipodean tour, came as her new video faced debate about its swearing, violence, full-frontal nudity and provocative lesbian sex references.

Gaga’s two-and-a-half-hour show featured 16 costume changes, elaborate sets and scantily clad back-up dancers.

Known for her quirky dress sense, The New Zealand Herald said Gaga looked hot in all her outfits and described one as a “nun’s habit made out of a condom”.

“Extravagance and glam is what the world has come to expect from a girl who two years ago was a no name and now she’s the biggest pop star on the planet,”

the newspaper reported in its Sunday edition.

New Zealanders took to blogs.

“The stage show was as good as anything I have ever seen. Her presence was commanding,” John posted.

“Gaga was the most amazing concert experience of my life. Every minute was pure heaven,” Ally commented.

“Anyone who’s ever seen her live can testify she is nothing like Britney Spears or Madonna. This girl really is everything,” Dylan added.

Meanwhile, MTV on Saturday banned Gaga’s “Telephone” video clip and more TV networks are expected to follow suit with its content ensuring they cannot show it during regular programming.

Haim’s Family Call On Fans For Funeral Finance Help

Actor Corey Haim’s family members have started an online fund so the dead star can have a proper funeral in his native Toronto, Canada.

The Lost Boys star, who died of a suspected drug overdose in Los Angeles on Wednesday, will be flown home and buried in Toronto next week – if his family can afford the costs of shipping and the funeral itself.

And they’re asking fans to help.

In a post on Haim’s website, a family representative writes,

“Due to the unexpected expenses of transporting his body to Canada for final resting, a fund has been set up to help.”

Details of where to send the cash or how to pay online have been listed.

Haim’s mother Judy, who came across the troubled star’s body and called the emergency services, is listed as the recipient of the cash.

Meanwhile, longtime pal and fellow former child star Scott Schwartz has been given the task of selling off Haim’s personal belongings on auction website eBay.com to help pay for the funeral costs.

He says,

“There’s shirts and jackets, hoodies, his favourite pair of Nikes… and the jacket he wore in (his last film) American Sunset.”

In a TV interview earlier this week , Haim’s best friend Corey Feldman explained the actor was so broke at the time of his death he “didn’t even have a car.”

This is just sad. What else can be said?

Katie Holmes’ Rep Denies Pregnancy Reports

Filed under: Katie Holmes, Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise

A representative for Katie Holmes has dismissed reports the actress is expecting her second child with husband Tom Cruise.

Recent tabloid reports suggested the Dawson’s Creek star was expecting a little brother or sister for the couple’s three-year-old daughter, Suri.

Holmes was seen visiting a doctor’s office, and photos of her surfaced with a bloated stomach wearing what appeared to be maternity clothes.

However her spokesperson insists the 31 year old isn’t expecting another baby, telling People.com: “Katie is not pregnant.”

Hey Paula! Fans Are Missing You – Simon Too!

Filed under: American Idol, Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell

The success of “American Idol” hasn’t just been about the singing talent.

As much as viewers tuned in to rally behind their favorite performer, they also came for the chemistry between the judges. That helped elevate the show beyond just a search for America’s next music star.

Never has the importance of that dynamic been more evident than in Season Nine, which has plenty of fans sharing a common complaint: “We miss Paula.”

“I think the chemistry they had before with the judges is really affecting the show this season,”

said Lindsay Powers, staff editor with US Weekly and an “Idol” fan.

“What Paula brought to the show was not only someone with a musical background, but also very endearing, compassionate, goofy and funny. Just like people tuned in to see what mean thing Simon would say, they would also tune in to see the whacky thing that Paula was going to say each week.”

And Abdul gave them plenty of whacky to deal with –from sometimes appearing to be in a fog to outright losing track of what was happening. In one case, she complimented a contestant on his second song when he had only sung once.

Such shenanigans probably wouldn’t have been as embraced by fans as they were with a giggle and “Oh Paula” except that the original cast of judges for “American Idol” was so well-balanced.

“The show has lost its ‘zest,’ ”

wrote a commenter named Mary.

“I feel Simon has lost complete interest, and Kara is trying so hard to take Paula’s place with Simon, rubbing his arm and putting her head on his shoulder — it is horrible this year.”

“Idol” has always been a ratings monster, much to the chagrin of its competition. Bill Gorman of TV by the Numbers recently wrote “Idol haters keeping track at home can note the show’s down just 5% in adults 18-49 this season so far.”

Matthew Jaffe, a writer at TV.com, recently tweeted a link to his story featuring the four reasons Paula is missed, which were: her chemistry with Simon and Randy, her unpredictability, her dancing (she was often up out of her seat during performances) and her beautiful mind.

Abdul has has been fairly quiet about any new projects, though she is set to reprise her role as a judge for the second season of the Lifetime series “Drop Dead Diva.”

And while rumors of possible talk shows and other appearances swirl, there is at least one well-known fan who is also feeling the lack of Abdul and who has the power to get her back on the small screen.

“I miss Paula,” Simon Cowell admitted to Jay Leno during a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

“I talk to Paula all the time. She was great fun, and [Idol] is a different show without her. Something will happen with me and her at some point.”

Well we all know what that is. X-Factor. Paula has the gig, that’s why she’s sitting tight right now doing nothing. Can’t wait!

She’s Out of My League Reviews Are In:

CRAP!!! Can’t find anyone that wrote anything good about it.

One critic writes:

The moronic “She’s Out of My League” would like to think of itself as an extension of its lead character — gangly, a bit uncouth, but ultimately sweet. Unfortunately, it’s more like the best friend in a movie like this — irritating, unfunny and something that hangs around longer than it should.

Don’t know how any movie with Alice Eve can be bad. I could sit there for two hours and just look at her..
